| From an LA times Article on 4/20 http://www.latimes.com/news/state/20...000033423.html This article basically states that the California Highway patrol cannot perform "consent searches" for the next 6 months. Meaning, if I get stopped, the officer cannot ask to search my vehicle. If the officer has probable cause, he/she would be allowed to search. Civil Liberties groups are calling this an admittance to "racial profiling". I am not sure. All I know is that I think that the rules have just changed in California... http://www.latimes.com/news/state/20...000033423.html |
