At my school, they frequently bring in drug dogs at random times to sniff students cars. If the dog alerts on the car the student is then removed from class and told to come to his car and open it. The car is then searched and anything that is found is held against him and "appropriate" action is taken. I am just curious as to know if this is legal, and if the student has to consent to the search. Thank you for responding.
