hey guys i wanna know if i clean my pipe would it be legit to put it in my luggage not my carryon obviously but would it be ok in my luggage?

Clean it VERY well, boil it, make sure it's SPOTLESS. If it's metal, I recommend taking it apart as much as possible, and putting them in your shaving kit (in checked luggage). If it's glass, I recommend wrapping it in a few tshirts, depending on it's size, and putting laying it in with your checked luggage.

Flying? Belongs here. There are plenty of answers in there. Listen to what Bart says. Do you really need a to bring a bong that bad? I'd just find something once I reached my destination.

Clean it real good, is my advice... soak it is 100% rubbing alcohol and salt... is it a pipe? If so use a pipecleaner afterwards to clean it out... if its a bong do the same for the slide. You should be fine.

TSA has never said anything so far...im sure theyve seen it before, but i pretty much feel that if it is completely clean and new, wtf can they really do or say...??

if directly asked or questioned, as far as youre concerned, 'its used for smoking tobacco products' ....just like the posted signs in these damn head shop and smoke shops that ppl go to :P

my destination country has the poorest, crudest smoking devices.....so the plastic water bong is a must.

anyways, thats my experience with it....im leaving in days out of the country again, and will purchase a fresh, clean and new water bong for my trip before i leave. im pretty sure i will put it in my checked luggage as always.

uknow, thing is tho, i never bring any crazy lookin water bong though, like some of the ones im sure you have all seen or own, hahhahah..

yea, nothin fancy...just the standard cylindrical shape. i also always take it apart as much as i can. the bowl, and stem go inside my carry on, even the rubber mouthpiece gets put somewhere else, the stand, the rubber cap on the bottom -- all these pieces i try to separate as much as i can.

point is, i dont make it BLATENTLY obvious to the TSA handlers what it is. ill throw socks and junk in the cylinder a lot of times, to make it look like its used for smth else.

like i said, if the damn thing is perfectly clean, as in no residue (resin, traces of drug), what can they really say???
