Hey guys,

I leave for school in a few weeks I go to a school about 4 and a half hours away so I usually drive back and forth to school which is no big deal for me to take my stuff (pipe + bong) but I am flying out to florida to drive up to Indiana with my buddy and I was wondering if I clean my piece enough would it be a big deal for me to throw it in with my luggage so we can have the piece for the drive up? 20+ hours were gonna need a lot of weed and a lot of different devices.

i think it should be fine if you clean it out really really really well...i bought a peice in vegas and brought it back unused and there was no trouble....so if you can clean so like its new again i think it shouldnt be too big of a deal but if you're still nervous about it i would suggest joints and or homemade devices for the ride....joints are better for the driver anyway....much easier to smoke a joint while driving than spark a peice...good luck

I know joints and blunts will be easier but this is a new piece with a huge bowl and my buddy hasnt seen it yet... so id really like to have it for the drive

Yeah if you clean it out really good and it doesn't smell like resin, there is no risk.

Clean it a LOT, wrap it in a LOT of T-shirts so it doesn't break, and put it in an article of luggage you have checked.

When do you have checked bags for driving? For flying putting your stash in checked luggage is not recommended. Stash it in the crotch if you flying domestic. Don't try to bring anything internationally.

If it were me, I would wait and just buy a new piece. You said you're going to school, so time restrictions shouldn't be a problem for finding a head shop. Some weekend, look up a headshop and go buy a new piece.
