| The following is from www.norml.org : Possession of less than 25 plants is protected under the Alaska Constitution’s right to privacy (See Ravin v. Alaska). Possession of 25 or more marijuana plants is “Misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fourth degree” and is punishable by a fine of up to $50,000 or five years in prison. However, they go on to mention that possession and sale are still illegal, so it's kind of confusing. It just sounds like you wouldn't get hit with extra charges for having the plants. There is a state by state guide on their homepage. Agent Z |

| I think you just dont get a big fine. And all they would do is confiscate. Cops dont seem to care as much about marijuana up here. Although there are quite alot of busts for other stuff up here.

| They tried reformed drug laws for a few years but it's back to being illegal now.

| Looking for a loophole... I've had an idea, i'd like someone to confirm/deny it; Isn't Federal jurisdiction limited to only the contiguous 48 states? |
