just got my court date for Dec. 11th, what should I expect? will I get another court date, will I be asked to pay a fine (its an infraction, thats less then a misdemeanor, right?) will they want to drug test me or anything(wont be smoking after tonight for a couple weeks anyways)

I reckon you'll be fine man and they shouldnt give you a drug test.

I got arrested for a henry of skunk and didnt get anything just a caution...I do live in the UK though

You don't even have to show up to pay the fine if oyu don't want to.
However, if you choose to simply pay the fine, that is the same as a guilty plea.

You could also go to court to get the charges expunged with a first offender program. You basically watch a video and answer a questionnaire. The fees are a bit higher, but you don't have a guilty plea on your record.

It's actually 286.00 court costs and some goes to the victim's relief fund, I know I went through it if you are mmj then you might not pay anything depends on the judge

Sorry this isn't really on-topic, I am sorry to hear about your run in w/ the law. Live and learn.

But I can't believe they donate the fees for marijuana convictions to a victim's fund. The only victim from marijuana are the ones being persecuted. Now, it may be for a murder/rape/etc. victim's fund, but it's still fucking ridiculous.

Unless you are ready to pay court and lawyer fees just pay the ticket (fine) and let this be a lesson learned.BTW, how were the joints discovered, Just curious. You are lucky you don`t live in my state where the fine is up to $1,000 and a year in the pen for a pound or less and it`s still a misdemeanor.Good luck however you decide.
