| Today it was snowing out a lot and my school got let out early, and my friends didnt have a ride home so i gave them one. I wanted to get the feel for my car in the snow, so i went on a backroad and was changing gears and hitting the breaks to see how it would respond. Well one thing led to another and we started doing donuts at the end of the street where there was only one house with no cars home. After about 15 seconds a guy comes out and yells "Im callin the cops, I got your license number!" so i immediately turned around and left. My question is when he calls the cops how will they handle it? I only want to know because right now I have weed in my car and I am going into Boston tomorrow to buy a bowl and DO NOT want to get pulled over with that in my car. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

| if he really did call the cops.. then they would probally be on the lookout for your car.. if they see ya you will probally get pulled over and warned not to do that anymore.. just dont ride around with weed for a few days and you should be fine.. |

| I wouldnt worry about it. Chances are theyre not going to put out a huge manhunt for you and your vehicle because some guy called the cops. I doubt he even did. Of course, in the extremely slim chance someone actually cared enough to do something, it wouldnt hurt to stash the illegables with someone. Then again, even if you did get pulled over, so long as you werent visibly high/smelling like pot, thered be no reason to search the car anyway, so you should be fine.

| I don't know if doing donuts is necessarily illegal. However, if I were you, I'd be smart and keep anything incriminating OUT of my car. I'd be very surprised if the cops did anything about this. Calling the police and giving out license plates numbers seems pretty extreme for just doing donuts. That guy needs to lighten up. If I were an officer responding to that call, I'd probably politely say I'd look into it and then not doing anything. The police have much more important things to worry about. Were you smoking while you did it? If so, he might have smelled the marijuana, or seen you smoking it, in which case the cops probably WOULD be looking out for you. But yeah, I'd do the smart thing and keep everything out of the car, just to be on the safe side. EDIT: It IS dangerous to be doing donuts, so they may pull you over just to warn you. Your best bet is to find a friend to take you to Boston, if you really want the bowl so badly. Say you'll smoke him up when you get back. Why risk your future for a piece of glass? Drive clean for a few days. |

| get anything illegal or sketchy out of your car, if they do pull you over for some reason than that may show up, after that they could arrest you, bringing you back to jail and giving the the ability to search your car, if you were doing donuts than chances are it would have been very hard to get you license plate, it may have been a bluff, and its probably off by a few digits anyways, had that happen to me in a dirt field, i had my tailgate down and just threw dirt the guys way to cover my license plate, well he ran inside either for the phone or a shot gun....didnt want to know which |

| Well i have had that happen to me and nothing happened. I wasnt doing donuts, just a powerslide around a cul-de-sac at night and some dude said he was going to give the cops my license plate and i just said whatever and drove off. Nothing ended up happening. Unless they catch you in the act or get some type of proof (picture or video) other than this guys word, you have nothing to worry about. |

| An eyewitness IS evidence. Doing donuts in the snow can be dangerous. One slip-up and you could EASILY careen into someone's mailbox, a parked car, a house or fence, someone's pet or, god forbid, another person! It doesn't take much. I remember as a teenager doing fishtails on some dirt roads near a park, I lost control and drove the car onto a chain-link fence beside a baseball field. There was nobody playing and very few (if any) people in the park. The car was mostly undamaged and I was able to drive off the fence and continue on... But still.... Dangerous nonetheless. I was lucky. So were you, feevers. Learn from it.
