| im very curious about this because their was a giant bust the other day at my school and 4 expelled more waiting to get expelled and tons suspended, they brought the dogs through the parking lots and caught probably around 30-40 people, i know great school that was only for weed but it seemed as if only the small compact cars were getting caught not a single truck was caught including my friend with a QP of some of the stinkiest bud, we were positive he was screwed but he got off ![]() and a few others with it in trucks got off without being caught, how is this possible???? aslo i dont know of anyone with a small little compact that didnt get caught, im very confused, i thought dogs would be able to smell it in any car but aparently not if anyone knows why this is i would like to know |

| Well drug dogs are not always 100% accurate, so they simply could have just missed it. Its possible, but not very likely. Also, some dogs have trouble smelling if the weed is stored high up, so if the truck was jacked up, that is a definite possibility. It also could depend on the container he stored it in. If he put the weed in say a coffee container and the weed was only in there for a very short amount of time before the dogs went by and there was no residue odor it dog would not smell it. The cops also might not have even gone near his car. I know when they brought the dogs to my high school they just did random sections of the parking lot and not the whole thing. They never once checked the senior parking lot for some reason. |

| its not a very tall truck just a standard f-150, and it was in a cereal container which is not that air tight but not super air tight, he also hotboxed his car the night befor, i guess that he got lucky cause they did bring the dog right up to his truck, the guy nearly shit himself |

| Some can, some cant it depends on how they were trained. They are trained using a ball with certain scents on it. If the ball has the scent of burnt marijuana well then it can. walked by a drug dog (i think it was a drug dog, might have been a bomb dog because there was a gun threat or something that day) once at school about an hour after smoking and he just layed there. I did change my cloths and wash my hands, but im sure the smell didnt go completely away, it was just a dog that would not give a signal for burnt weed. |

| I knew someone that got 2 years of probation for a SEED being in their car at school. We had smoked in there before school.... we think that's what alerted the dog. They gave the car a cavity search and managed to find a single seed... but it was still enough.

| ya i belive they treat a seed exactly like a full grown plant ready for harvest, so a few ounces worth, thats intent to distribute and whatever else they want to charge you for |

| NO< NO< NO.....seeds aren't considered intent or anything. You'd be charged with possession, and nothing more. Please, if you believe otherwise, offer roff. I've never heard of someone being charged with intent because of a seed
