Hashish has been, until the past few decades, the most common form of cannabis used throughout Europe. I'm sure you'll be able to find what you want (and better quality) relatively easily.

Why take the chance to cross International Borders just so you can take some 'bud' with you?

Also, in regards to the EU deportation.

I guarantee you'll never get into Canada either. Homeland Security is sharing info with customs and canadian border patrol. Even misdemeanors can keep you out of Canada.

So dont risk it internationally.

It happened back in 2003 or So when Easter was on 420. I was flying from Chicago to Florida and wanted to bring some weed with me instead of trying to find it. I didn't bring much a little more than an 1/8 and this was back in 2003. What I did was take my bag of weed then covered it with surran wrap and tape and put it in a shampoo bottle and no problem. Another time I was going to rehab in Minnesota and used the same method this time putting it in a deodorant stick. Again worked fine and got passed rehab security.

Right then, the old Shampoo bottle trick. The TSA has specifically identified this in their training manual. Shampoo has the same consistency as plastic explosives and therefore receives extra scrutiny - and your little baggie will present in the x-ray as exactly what it is - a baggie in a shampoo bottle. Busted.

As for sneaking contraband into rehab - methinks that behavior speaks for itself.

Domestically, always carry your MJ on your person, preferably near your private parts as they remain private - never place it in your luggage, checked or carry-on.

Hey everyone...

I'm a first time poster but I've exhaustively read this entire thread and thank all of those who've shared their experiences (particularly BartS).

I'm clear that the underwear method is the best way to go, and that's what I plan to use, but I nevertheless have some general concerns about an upcoming trip. I'm heading to Alaska in a little over a month and I've heard a few people mention (not here) that the security involved in travelling to AK is somehow "different," although I can't imagine why it would be. I was curious if anyone has any insights into any of AK's airports--specifically Anchorage, Ketchikan and Juneau. Is it the same as regular security, even given it's proximity to Canada?

Also, somewhere way back in this thread someone mentioned extra security precautions at the Detroit airport, where I'll be leaving from. Was that person just being alarmist; have other people travelled successfully via Detriot (and, while I'm at it, Seattle)?

Thanks for any and all advice.

Detroit is nothing special... Probably me who mentioned it.

They have puffer machines (not calibrated for MJ), and Xray. Detroit also Xrays checked bags.

Make sure you have all your metal stuff of of you prior to entering the TSA lines, the puffer was optional last time i was thru and working there.

Remember to double check your boarding pass for the tell tale red "S" or ***SSSSS*** on the corners /bottom. If you see this, you are subject to extra screening. Usually just a quick patdown and the metal wand.
