Obviously you do not understand international travel and Customs. Your spices will be detected by x-ray and those officials will be happy to destroy your luggage if necessary - and they have a job incentive to find your fool-proof method.

And most luggage warranties will not cover this damage.

International smuggling is not so simple, fool-proof, nor related to simply the country of origin.

i was under the impression @ uk airports only hand luggage is x-rayed....so they x-ray every case thats going on the plane then?

Thats simply not true. The best way a dog's power of scent has been explained to me is this. Imagine a soup. You look in, and you see carrot, you see chicken, you see rice, you see broth. But if you smell, you just smell... soup, not individual smells. A dog is the opposite. if it looks at a bowl of soup, it just sees soup, because its vision is not very good. But if it smells soup it can distinguish the odors, the way we distinguish the images. it will smell carrots, chicken, rice, broth separately. That is why coffee won't work, nor will peanut butter, shampoo, or your girlfriends period. It'll smell coffee AND weed, shampoo AND weed etc.

Seriously though, in most modern airports, espeically london (this from the country that has what, 10,000 cameras?) Xray your luggage. Just because you dont see them do it, doesn't mean it doesn't happen. E.g. In Detroit (USA) your luggage gets tossed on a belt, most people think it turns in the back and you load a luggage cart. While this is true in many small outstations, your larger airports this goes right down into the basement to the xray machines.

Crotch it seriously... for domestics. Int'l travel, man... i wouldn't even attempt it it's not worth the penalities.

Since it is an international airport I am arriving at I am a little nervous about the attempt, not to mention its Miami-- the drug capitol of the world...i will not be bringing anything back to new york...is it safe?

Most airports in the US are international airports.

You're flying domestic, so as long as you keep it on your person when going through security and you're not giving off any odors that would tip off the TSA, you should be fine.

well...ive read this entire monstrocity of a forum.

and how not to do it internationally....

although i do realize the heavy risks, i do this all the time, at least 1-2 times a year.

given, its the exact same route everytime......

it still NEVER gets routine, no matter how much i do it. id be lying if i said i wasnt nervous as shit everytime i check in my luggage.

and YES, i always put it in my checked luggage (dont have a heartattack bart)...

and YES, i know bout xrays and tsa searches.

in fact, i ANTICIPATE them.....xray, then tsa check......

no problem, everytime. ill briefly describe my method, but not too much detail. basically, i seperate the 1/4 i usually take, into fruit shaped pieces....vacuum seal those.....put em inside dried fruit packages from Costco....reseal the fruit package (as not to destroy the factory seal) and thats it....of course i usually have at least 6-7 CLEAN fruit bags alongside the mj fruit bag.

i know internationally is really frowned upon on here...especially by bart.
i do respects barts experience blah blah etc etc...

but with all do respect bart....its not impossible. ive done this pre and post 9/11 at least 20 times.

like i said, given...its the SAME route everytime, so i know the rough procedure (which is never routine)...i see smth different everytime.

i expect it, and plan on it everytime. which what my success may be attributed to.....i.e., i plan for the worst.

ill say 95% of the time, i get an xray followed by a TSA hand search.

the thing is guys.....expect to go thru all checks......tsa, xray, customs.

that way, u can anticipate everything. i know they xray my luggage...big fuckin deal.....they see the different densities of the weed in my dried fruit bags, big fuckin deal....when the tsa guy checks it, its a bag of friggin dried mixed fruit.....theres at least 5-6 different densities in there with the assortment of fruit........he doesnt think twice after that.

plus, what i forgot to mention....i honestly just make it a hard friggin time for the TSA.....i.e., i put a TON of junk into my carryon, just to throw the idiots off.

i love putting shampoo, coffee, and electronics that look like bombs in my luggage. i get a kick everytime they look at all those 'suspect' items, but never look once at the dried fruit.

anyways...im not trying to be cocky...but just speaking from experience.
ive seen the method i use ROUGHLY mentioned on here....but honestly not as intelligent as the approach i take. honestly.

the amount of times ive done this, i need at least 4 hands to count on. my take, if it broke -- dont fix it.

domestically? ive never flown domestically in my life. internationally, IN MY CHECKED LUGGAGE is the only situation i know.

i know theres a handful of ppl on here turning in their graves.

whatever. its my method, for my situation, it works.
