Thanks guys, for answering my questions. I've actually traveled tons of times while carrrying MJ, but not in the past 3 years. My main concern was going thru the pufffer machine, since they dind't have those the last I was "carrying". BTW, when I asked about x-rays, I meant the backscatter x-ray machine. Thanks again for all the help.

I went through the "puff machine" while I had my stash in my crotch. I was waived on because I had no explosives on me.

That is my biggest concern. Were you nervous at all? Or did you know it wouldn't flag you?

Yes, I was nervous, but I knew they were only looking for explosives, so that helped me be calm walking through the machine. Honestly, I was nervous the whole time I was at the airport just because I was carrying a stash. I just wanted to be out of the airport.

That being said, I really never had anything to worry about because the stash was crotched the whole time, and I never removed it until I got to my destination.

Hi I have probably read 3/4 of this thread and like many other people I am just being extra cautious. Basically from what I have read in other posts, I will double bag my less than half ounce of weed and place it inbetween two sets of underwear and will probably duct tape the weed to the underwear to be extra secure. I am 19 years old and I dont look like a stoner, I will probably just wear a coat, t-shirt, and jeans that isnt stoner right lol ? I am also flying alone so do you think that will cause suspicion for a pat down search? I am checking in online to pick out my seat assignment and shit so is there still a chance that I can get the "SSSS" on my ticket? Has anyone ever been caught stashing weed in the groin other than that a person looked really suspicious and had to be strip searched? Just to clarify I have read over and over that there is no drug search on domestic flights by dogs because it is a violation of privacy... is there a website that says this or do you guys just know that as a fact? Suppose that security smelt the weed on me, can they do anything about it? I just hope i don't get caught even though it seems that this method is 99% fool proof.

Yes, even with e ticket you can get the *SSS*.

You won't be strip searched unless you act crazy, or say you have a bomb.

There are drug dogs occassionally in airports, but only at the customs/international areas. You'll be fine in this regards as you're flying domestic.

If a LEO/TSA agent smells your weed, then yes, they have the option to search you more thoroughly. Just as if you were on the street, walked by a cop and stunk it up.

I just flew out of DTW (march 2nd) to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I read just about every single post on here, and all I can say is listen to Bart!

I feel if i had a vacuum sealer I could have pulled it off, i debated for awhile about just taping a few j's under my penis shaft but since I had no vacuum sealer I could smell the skunk every once in awhile, so that was a no go, and I'm glad I chose not to.

There were no dogs at DTW for check in at the new terminal, but my girl did get randomly sent through the "puffer" that checks for ballistics (neither of us were searched--i believe this is also random unless you're shady or give them a reason to search you, but if you vacuum sealed and had it taped to your groin i dont think you'd be caught).

When we arrived in mexico there were also no dogs (we had a direct flight). The only way they check people there is random as well. There is a button that you press and either a red or green light illuminated, green you go on your way, red you're checked. There were something like 3-4 people being checked and they did a very thorough check of the people's bags.

On the way home there was a governor in the PV airport and the security was only slightly increased, tons of press were there. They didn't stop anyone, they just wanted to get people through the check points.

When we got back to DTW there were barely any customs officers, only 2 or 3 of the booths were open, we got back around 10pm in the evening. They just asked who we were with, how the trip was, and asked if we had anything we brought back (only alcohol, which is a great idea to get if you're 21, i got a liter of crown royal for $21 USD.)
I just threw in the above info on the return for anyone who is interested, I don't know why you'd want to bring back Mexican crap though...

All in all I believe I could have transported it, but we ended up befriending a bartender while we were there who hooked me up, and various store workers downtown would openly offer it to you. You can definitely find it down there, it may not be as good as you're used to, but nothing, and I mean nothing is worth spending time in a Mexican or foreign jail awaiting your sentencing. If you must, make sure you vacuum seal it and keep it on your nuts, but I definitely wouldn't try it internationally.

Secondary screening involves being bodily searched and an in-depth inspection of carry-on luggage. There are variations on the methods - sometimes the screener uses the handheld magnometer, sometimes a pat-down. Sometimes they swab every piece of electronics and other times they test the laptop only. Occasionally the Behavior Detection person will interview you as well.

Quad S is nothing to be afraid of if you utilize the whitey-tightey method.
