To meet the definition of drug paraphenmilia, indications that it is to be used for illegal purposes would be necesary....like having drug residue in it, or being found packed next to your fat bag of MJ.....Yes, such things are openly sold....but "for tobacco use ONLY" . Once you've smoked weed from a pipe, its now drug paraphenilia, and no longer a "tobacco pipe"

Ive read alot of ideas, and tactics here, but not what I find to be the most obvious. Just do a transplant w/ a pack of smokes (switch the Tabac w/ bud,) and place it in your checked baggage in a half full carton (in back.) If you are really froggy, you could even open the pack from the bottom so that it looks like its still sealed. Why carry your shit right next to your "shit" when you can set it up to be searched w/ none the wiser.

Let me address your question, because the answers may not be so obvious.

First - many of us do not smoke tobacco, and given the cost and health effects of the gross habit, we are likely way ahead in life for this decision.

Second - folks like myself who travel frequently - a couple of times a week - would find this sort of method as burdensome and unnecessary. Your suggestion requires you to have a lot of time on your hands, check luggage, have a single destination and like to gamble. Your theory of going to all the effort of replacing ciggs with MJ, resealing the pack and placing it in your luggage is essentially impractical in practice. Consider that the whitey-tightey method takes all of about 10 seconds, and works day-in and day-out.

Third - there are layers of screening in the handling of luggage. You depend on the pack escaping detection by x-ray (which is not assured - the difference in density is noticeable), but what about the day they hand-search your luggage? We have a major rule here to never place it in your luggage - checked or carry-on - for a very good reason! You get caught that way as several folks here (including myself) will testify.

The whitey-tightey method remains the only way to assure that your MJ is not detected. There are hundreds of similar suggestions like yours here in this thread - shampoo, bath salts, coffee, food products and hiding in a pack of smokes. I try to only recommend what is practical.

hey, just taking a flight to cabo from Lax and was wondering how would be the best way to do it. Insole of shoes? in the past i have always takin it on me via my jock strap, but was tripped out when i brought it to cancun a few years back, and mexican customs was a system that was set up as a red light green light thing, where 1 in 12 were searched. I know there is a way to get my stash down there, has anyone had success internationally?

best and tried method is to keep it on you. tape it next to or on ur balls. or if traveling with a female companion well tell her to stick it u know where. Don't stick it in a bag of any kind or anything. keep it on you. the chances of you getting searched is slim and i mean slim.

I'm going out for vacation this Summer and this will be the first time going some where that I don't have a hook up when I get there. I'm thinking about taking a little less than a 1/4 on me. I like the keep it on you idea better than the other methods mentioned. I have flown a few times after 911 and had nothing on me, but I felt if I did, I would have gotten away with it.

My plan is to vacuum seal it than put it into a regular sandwich bag and then into another. Take a paper towel and spray a little colone on it than roll it all together. With some tight underwear put it from the back of my nads to about the top of my crack. I really feel this would be the best way to go if I do it at all.

Here are some other thoughts I have for a good trip.

Make sure you are on time for your flight. Don't wear anything that will set off the detector. No belt, no jewelry, no lighter. You can always get a lighter when you get to where you are going. You want to go through the detector once and only once. Like a lot of people have already said don't look like a stoner. Make sure you shave, and smell good, and have a haircut. Don't over dress, and don't under dress. Try to wear long pants with plastic buttons or jeans. Shorts may let the smell escape easer than long pants. Don't get on board empty handed. Take a book, a camcorder, a magazine; Something. Try to look like everyone else. Don't take a pipe with you, or have one on you. Maybe some papers in you wallet, but again you can buy some when you get to where you are going. If anyone else has any ideas please add to the list.

im going to cancun and i want to bring an 1/8th or so iv takin it with me from san francisco to L.A. But i feel like going to Cancun is not going to be as easy. I dont want to buy it there. Im clean cut and the tighty whiteys worked before. Anyone done it recently whats the security like

First of all, have you actually read anything in this thread?

Second, are you willing to accept the consequences if you get caught taking drugs across international borders? Transporting drugs, even small amounts, across an international border carries some rather harsh penalties.

I don't think it's worth the risk, but do what you want.
