I actually have to do it for school, just for a few months, and wow...its been very uh....interesting. Fun tho too...i like to work with youth, just not in a jail setting....not so therapuetic in there

If you package it real well in you suitcase that you don't take with on board the plane, will it be safe in there? They don't walk a pot sniffing dog past all bags do they?

I am going to be taking an amtrak train next week. I have never been on a train before. What is the security like on a train?

You would think that if you put into a container (shampoo, soap, whatever) and check whatever it's in there won't be a problem.

i havent taken a train since after 9/11 but last time i did there was no security at all. i just walked onto the train.

I say take it with. Dress smartly, clean shave, hair neat as possible and dont sweat it, you will be fine. If I have it I travel with, never had a problem, not even at customs.

Amtrak ticketing system is tied in to one or more federal law enforcement agencies. They monitor several routes and target certain ticket type purchases. They get everybody off the train run the mangy muts through and seek out the flaged ticket purchasers. Of course this is a violation of our rights but what do they care.

I wouldn't be too worried about it at all... since 9/11 the only thing on the security people's minds has been, "Do you have a bomb or not". But if I were to take it on a plane I would probably use the shampoo bottle idea. Only I would leave the shampoo in the bottle and just put my weed in 4 or 5 bags with ducktape or something. That way if they search your bag, the shampoo bottle will actually be full. I think bringing an empty shampoo bottle would be pretty suspiscious.
