Remind me to tell you about the time I walked AROUND customs on my way back from Amsterdam. ;>
Domestic Flights are No problem if you have a head on your shoulders. It's the International flights that you need to be careful about.
Also I bought my ticket online the Friday before I left.
It's your appearance, look straight and be treated with respect. That don't mean wear a 3 pieice suit. It means look like you've been there before. Just like when you show them your Passport, They'll reply welcome back. If you look like a idiot, be prepared to be searched. Also have nice luggage, backpacks are usually searched good. Carry your stuff in the Camera Bag, or Laptop you are taking. If you have one!

No! Bad idea!! They always make you take your laptop out of its bag at the xray machine. They sometimes make you turn on your cell phone to make sure it works. They're always wary around electronics. Don't put it in your luggage, period.

Default That Shampoo Bottle trick might get you . . .

Quote:
The Transportation Security Administration bought 1,344 machines costing more than $1 million each to search for explosives in checked bags by examining the density of objects inside. But innocuous items as varied as Yorkshire pudding and shampoo bottles, which happen to have a density similar to certain explosives, can set off the machines, causing false alarms for 15 percent to 30 percent of all luggage, an agency official said. The frequent alarms require airports across the country to have extra screeners to examine these bags.

Those good old Shampoo Bottles are specifically searched, sure you want to hide your stash in them?

Put your return address on it and I think they'll probably drop by.

Im flying from the west coast to the east coast Friday, then back again. I fly at least 6 or 7 times a year, before 9/11 and after. I have never had any trouble in airports with searching, never seen dogs (and if I did I assume they are there for bombs). After reading all these posts im going to just pack it in the "undies" and head on the plane. This seems the best way. Since I travel a lot, i know all about getting through metal detectors and wont set any off. So i think its a pretty easy deal. (ive flown a lot and never taken herb with me b4)
