depends on the flight you take.. just got back from Vegas... took American West and it was simple as **** to get whatever over... I could've honestly brought a QP with me and nothing would've gotten said. They were more worried about my boots more than anything else

While I sympathize with you having to travel "American Worst" airline, your comments are not very helpful to other travellers. What may have appeared simple to you, traveling with weed, has nothing to do with the flight, the airline, or the destination. It has to do with the security checkpoints.

Your bags are scrutinized by a Federal Agency - the TSA. If you are found to have weed, they require that the local authority with jurisdiction cite you for possession. Simply put, they need the statistical evidence that they are doing their job, and since nobody carries bombs or weapons, marijuana provides that statistical evidence. If the TSA finds weed, they will call the Sheriff or Police for that Airport, and you will get cited.

For the others reading this, always carry personal amounts of weed on your person (best in your underwear) and never place any weed in your luggage - checked or carry-on. Leave the pipe at home, too. Good Travels!

What are you talking about? Could you be more specific? Such turboposts are not very helpful.

Internationally, yes, it is not worth the risk of smuggling when the result may be very expensive for an American. Buying your way out of jail is pricey.

Domestically, it is worth the risk provided you follow certain guidelines.

Today, the TSA posted figures for the airport I fly out of most. The term "contraband" as applied to marijuana was reflected in the following figures:

29 out of every 1,000 passengers are caught and prosecuted for possession of MJ.

That is the chances you take when you place MJ in your luggage, checked or carry-on. Inside your shampoo bottle or that coffee cup, you get caught. So I am reminded of one of my favorite movies - Dirty Harry - and the quote:

"so do you feel lucky punk?"

im trying to bring about a half eighth on the plane with me (im flying into washington, then driving to virginia...) ive been thinking about duct taping it to my bra - sewing it inside my bra...putting some coffee beans in w/ the double bag...i dunno im getting hella paranoid, and im leaving next week... i need some good advice...
oh and im not checking any of my bags, i only got one.

Simply keep it on your person, although a woman's bra may be searched if it contains an underwire. I alway suggest putting it in your granny-panties and forget it. Between two pair is good, and you will have a spare in case they lose your luggage.

No need to include coffee beans or Axe or whatever . . . dogs are not an issue in domestic travel, and such methods wouldn't help anyway.

ahhhhhhh...i see, i didnt even think about the underwire...thats hella good advice, i appreciate it...i feel way calmer, now...no dogs? extra pair of granny panties? sounds all good to me
