I seem to be in a bit of a cynical mood tonight, so go ahead, try it. There's only one way to find out, but do you really want to be that 1 out of 1000? Like I've said before, you're ****ing around with a felony here, not a local cop who'll confiscate your weed and send you on your way.

It doesn't really matter to me anyways, I don't like to travel to the U.S. often, and the East Coast of Canada is a lot more peaceful. My relatives there grow in the sanctity of their own backyards, because the RCMP doesn't care up there. Easy to get, you should move here....

x-ray essentially shows the density of objects, so to beat the x ray you need to put what your trying to hide inside (or below) a object which is more dense then the object your trying to hide or
hope you have a poorly trained x-ray technician watching the monitor.

I wouldn't screw around with that, especially in airports... Ironically, they determine whether an object can be plastick explosives by using density. A block of cheese, and other items like that are around the same density, and have been misidentified. You wouldn't them thinking they have a bomb, when its a package of weed.

i flew from Newark to Denver with a half of Kind buds duct taped to the front of my boxer briefs. And when i was out west, i bought a quarter of dank and brought most of it back the same way. But this was before 9-11 happened! I made sure not to smoke at all before flying (very hard). I had it very well rapped in like 5 sealed baggies, and if i can recall i even walked past a drug sniffing dog when getting off the plane and he didnt smell a thing. If you think that this is 2 risky and u really wanna bring buds in the air, then i suggest compacting the buds and swallowing them, and retrieving your bag like 12 hours later when you take a sh*t in vegas

Flew to Vegas via Detroit last July. Heavy security nowadays..

I wouldn't risk it.

I'm also leary of copping in a strange place...spent some time in jail in Hawaii for this very reason!

Well...just got back from Cali today. Here's the security summary at San Fransico and MPLS-St Paul airports.

Flight Out-MPLS-St Paul
I've got a few matches packed (paranoid about lighters setting stuff off or not being allowed on planes). In addition, I've got about a gram of weed in a small, well wrapped bag attached to the drawstring on the pants I'm wearing. I've also got my pipe in my side pocket. Security lets me by without so much as asking me to take off my shoes.

Flight Back-San Fransico
More confident here. Have my pipe in my waistband, and a nice lighter I bought packed in my luggage. Again, security lets me by with no issue.

A few things-

1) Carry weed on your body. I saw them open up alot of people's luggage. However, I never saw them frisk anyone. Also, be aware that they X-Ray luggage, but only use a metal detector on you. Just don't bring a metal pipe and you'll be fine.
2) Keep it in an easy to ditch location. A waistband where you can easily knock the weed down your pantleg and onto the ground is a good place to keep it. This way, if you're searched, you only lose your weed and don't face travel delays and possible criminal charges.

Internally would work well wouldn't if you were female? Wrap it in some plastic and insert ... remove upon arrived destination.

That was sort of my plan ... but still weighing risks of what would happen if caught.

You are taking a huge risk if you try to bring smoke with you on an airline. They can pull you aside at random and have you empty your pockets, take off your shoes, belt and and look through your bags. The last time I flew I flew to Milwaukee to see family. My brother in law gets high and always hooks me up when I am there. Anyhow, I managed to make it through all the checkpoints without anyone checking my pockets or shoes or anything but my wife and son were randomly checked.

We were in Milwaukee, off the plane and past security. We had picked up our bags from baggage claim and were waiting in line for our rent a car when a canine cop and his narc dog came up and started sniffing our baggage. I was so glad I didn't bring anything with me and that was a definite wake up call. Just when you think its safe and you are in the clear, things can still happen.

I went to the ST Maarten a couple of years ago for a week and left all my smoke home. This was prior to the 9/11 attack. I was afraid customs would ruin my vacation. I still had a great time and just being in the caribbean was enough to give me that natural high and totaly relaxed. Take a head break, have a nice trip and just think about how good that first hit will be when you get back.
