Ok so im new here (obviously). I have read through all of the posts and I really just want to make sure. The best way to bring pot with you on a plane (domestic flight) is via in your tightie whities near your junk? I plan on having like a 1/2 zip in a pill case in my tightie whities.

Also from what i've read, the only way to really get caught that way is from a K-9, but they wouldn't really be in the domestic flight terminals right? I once flew back from San Francisco with a little less than 1g on me and I walked right by a K-9 and it just laid there (this was by the ticketing area). I know the amount I had didn't matter, because those dogs can smell it as long as its there.

I also know that my older brother crotches pot all the time whenever he comes home from SF, he didn't want me to do it, but he said its real easy.

You are correct. Provided you keep it private in your Whitey-tighties, no problem.

Never put MJ in your luggage, checked or carry-on, but next to your private parts still remains private with the TSA.

Be cool on the other side, too. Many folks do not understand that just because they are on vacation that the Teenage Trifecta is not in play.

Wait hold up. I always thought bringing weed with you on a plane trip was totaly unsafe. I've only flew on a plane a few times but I remeber that they have like 3 dogs going around sniffing everyones bags for drugs and stuff in the airport so how would stuffing weed in your pants help at all?

Hey everybody,

I'm new in here. And before I left for Miami, I read every single page on this thread, yes every single page. And I also talked to Bart a few times. I was nervous the whole week before I left. Then the actual day came, and it was too easy. I didn't even know why I was sweating it. My friends and I brought half a oz and split it between the three of us. We did the infamous "whitey-tightey method" and walked through with no problems. We dressed nice and made sure that we had nothing on us that would set off the alarm. Removed our belts, watches, phones, and kept it moving like we did this every day. No dogs were around, nothing. I flew out of Newark, btw. Honestly, I could've kept it in my pockets, but why take the risk? If you're wondering how i wrapped it, this is what i did:

Step one: Put weed in a snack pack ziplock
Step two: Roll that up and tape it with electrical tape. Compress it as much as possible without flattening it. I hate my weed flat
Step three: After you rolled it up and taped it, get another snack pack zip lock and throw it in there. And then throw some baby powder in there.
Step four: Roll up it up again and put vaseline all over it. Throw it another zip lock, tape that up.

You can repeat as much as you want. I did this about three times and my package looked like a mini snickers bar. Next day wore two pairs of tighty whiteys and stuffed it in between the two. It was uncomfortable at first, but you get used to it. So, hoped my experience helped. Thanks Bart. And thanks to everyone who posted in this thread. Do the tightey whitey method. Enough said!

Those are bomb canines, usually. I say usually because at certain locations customs operates within the airport and you will be searched/sniffed.

But we aren't talking international arrivals here. Domestically there isn't a lot going on with regards to drugs in airports. Especially if your departure is at an outstation and not a major hub. E.g. I can fly from Alpena to Minneapolis, no drug dogs in Alpena. You arrive in the "secure" area in MSP, hussle down to luggage and out you go. Nobody cares about arrivals at that point, only departures.

I'll be making a trip next week from Philly to Oregon (with a layover in Salt Lake). To avoid the risk of carrying it on my person thru the airport, I've had a few people suggest to me the idea of shipping myself a "care package" with cookies and popcorn and stuff. Part of this package would be a half-used jar of peanut butter with a special green surprise inside. Forgive me if this has been covered on the thread (I've only seen occasional mentions of mailing risks), and forgive me if this is a thoroughly stupid idea.

What are the risks? Dogs? X-rays? You all are so well-versed, I'm sure someone has some advice.

what about prescription bottles? The ones from walgreens have caps that can be used upside-down to make the bottle air-tight. Couldn't you put weed in there, screw it closed and airtight, then put the bottle in a plastic bag, then put it in a jar of peanut butter or a bottle of shampoo? It doesn't seem that dogs could possibly smell it through all that.

LOL....way to demonstrate that you haven't read ANY of this thread. What seems "airtight" to us isn't scentproof to a dog. Even the residual amounts of cannabis on your hands could be transferred to the lid of the bottle upon closing, leaving enough scent to trigger a reaction from a dog. All in all, its simply FOOLISH to attempt beating the dog's nose. I'm not saying it CAN'T be done, but its not something the average person should ever attempt. There are ways of doing it, but the smallest of errors could lead to a nice, long, uncomfortable cell in some foreign jail, with cellmates that are less than friendly. If you want to smuggle weed "your" way, be my guest, but I'll never endorse it as a good idea by any stretch.
