| A stash I've always been quite comfortable with in the spring and summer months is in one of the 3 fishing tackle boxes that are my constant companions. Tackle boxes, by nature, are dirty, smelly, and FULL of razor sharp hooks that like to embed themselves in your flesh if you aren't careful. While they likely won't fool a dog, I've yet to see a cop that has decided to empty oput the various bags of smelly Berkley Power Bait at thge bottom of a tackle box, hoping one of them contains a bag of weed. That being said, make sure your weed is sealed multiple times. I've yet to have it happen, but I can't imagine weed that has absorbed the scent and/or flavor of fish bait would be very pleasant to smoke. Granted, this scenario will only work for the fishermen among us, and its never been "tested" but its a spot I have confidence in

| Wow true wisdom. Ive never been pulled over by a cop and searched. But if they look at my car as they did your they would find tons of unwanteds. I am going to clean out my car as we speak. | Here are some tips that've kept me safe over the last 5 years.. -Never carry weed or paraphernalia with you unless you just acquired it and are taking it home. -Hide your weed before you start your car. Make sure the baggie is sealed well. The dog will still smell it, but the Police ossifer might not. I personally carry the stuff on my person, but not in a pocket.. You don't want the officer to see you fiddling around to move it. If you have a small enough amount that you can eat it, keep it in an easy, discreet place where swallowing it isn't suspicious. -Obey traffic laws, speed limit, turn signals, etc.. Also, it's a good idea to routinely check your tail lights, head lights, break lights, license plate lamp light, muffler, etc.. -Purchase your stuff during daylight. I believe there's a significantly greater chance of making it home safely if you do this. There's less traffic at night, therefore you're at a greater risk of being pulled over, especially if you're out after bars close down. -If you do get pulled over, be polite, and to the point. Don't ramble or prolong the conversation any longer than is needed. (And don't make it seem like you wanna get out of there real bad, just play it cool.) Just some tips that have worked for me.. I've been pulled over twice while driving and been a passenger in a vehicle that's been pulled over four times.. Incredibly, all six times, I've had stuff on me, but using these tips, I have made it home safely. FYI: I was pulled over once for loud muffler and the other time for improperly displaying my front license plate in the window. |

| I personally have only been pulled over twice, and both times I had stuff on me. The first I had a full ounce in a pants pocket, and the second time I had a bag and papers in my pocket, and a pipe in a small zippered pouch in the door pocket of the car. It was stupid to do this I know, but that was years ago before I wised up a bit. Both times I was perfectly calm and polite to the officer, and had no problems. Both times I was given a warning, because I was pulled over for very insignificant infractions. The first time I was pulled over because the officer thought I had pulled out of a gas station too close to an oncoming vehicle, and the second time was for failing to use my turn signal at a stop sign in an empty neighborhood. Both times were late at night, so I know the officer was looking for drunk driving and/or drugs. Fortunately I had taken the initiative to use eye drops to clear my eyes ahead of time. Knowing that my eyes were nice and white I was at a normal level of calm. Also, both times I had no problem explaining what I was doing out at the time. |
