me nd my friends were driving around smokin a blunt, nd on the 2nd blunt we got pulled over by a cop. we put it out nd put it in my friends sock, but we made us get out nd he said he knew we were high. we admited to smoking it but said there was nothing left. he asked about the roach nd we said we didnt know where it went. the court date for the driver is nexr week and im gunna take the blame cuz she is on probation and everyone else is over 18. im 15 nd this would b my 1st offence. so anyone know how much trouble id get in for admiting that i bought it nd rolled it nd im the one that had the roach the whole time?

Well the 1st that would help would be to know what the charge is. You saying you bought and rolled it, probably isnt going to save the driver. She was probably charged with a DUI, or something similar. You might be able to save her from a possession charge, but you wont be able to save her completly.

If your friend was charged with DUI-drugs, then you aren't going to be able to take the blame for that one. No one is guilty of driving under the influence of drugs except, you guessed it, your friend. Now if she hadn't actually been smoking, and it was only the passengers of the car that had, your idea would work. But since it doesn't sound like this is the case, I don't recommend you perjure yourself.

You can't just take the blame for someone else when they are also clearly guilty, it doesn't work that way.

Well, you should see what charges she is facing 1st. If it is only DUI, it would be idiotic for you to say a word, you would just incriminate yourself for no gain to your friend. Don't take the blame for something you did not do, she was the one that decided to drive people while smoking. If there is no other charge but a DUI to the driver, you would be very wise not to say a thing.

she was charged with a dui, possetion, nd sumthin called a upm, anyone know what the upm is? all i kno is it has to do wit weed nd im gunna b takin the upm nd possetion charges

Im assuming you misspelled possession as possetion. If that is the case, you can probably take the possession charge off her if you really want to, but maybe not, it depends on so many circumstances. However, if the cop confiscated no weed, her lawyer might be able to get her out of that charge with out you saying a thing. If i were you, i wouldnt take the fall for your buddy

upm is Unlawful Possession of MJ, and you cannot help her in any significant way. I know hanging with the older kids was kinda thrilling - throwing yourself on your sword is not going to help your friend and certainly not going to help you.

Your's is a very foolish plan - the system is very hardened to such deceit and it is foolish to think you can absorb the charges. What you better learn about is the teenage trifecta; never mix weed, vehicles and more than one occupant.
