I have been thinking as I've been smoking the last few days. Would it be possbile if you were to be arrested for any marijuana related offence, to demand to be treated as a POW, in accordance to the Geneva convention, in relation to "The War on Drugs." Officially declared by the president of our country?? With a good laywer, I wonder if it could be done!!

Haha... that made me laugh.

I think "War on Drugs" is in quotation marks because its an expression about the efforts put by the government to find and punish those who manufacture, traffic/sell, and use illegal intoxicating substances.

I don't think its a war... Also if it would war on DRUGS then you would have to be a drug to be a POW. How much Marijuana do you expect to have in your system to be considered a drug, and not a human being?

well they are going pretty heavy on us now, with a good wait know great lawyer you probably could get that, but its unlikely

I've always referred to pipes that have been seized as "POWs"

Who knows what happens to them....torture, I'm sure, as they scrape the resin out to test it, and then most likely a quick shatter

Not always. I remember one day at school cops brought in some of the paraphernalia they had confiscated for some reason. I dont even remember why they did i think it was some safety fair or something, but they had some cool looking bong and a pipe that was shaped like an elephant. Im sure most get shattered or disposed in some other manner, but not all of them.
