| I was just thinking. What if you put a hole in the floor of your car that led to the outside. If you saw blue lights, you could just drop it through to the road. Since the cop technically didnt see you drop it, can he charge you with anything? For all he knows you ran over it. It would certainly make the cop suspicious, but would he be able to charge you with possession? |

| Right, but he cant see the under side of your car, he wouldnt see it fall out, just it on the road once you drove over it. He could suspect that you dropped it, but i dont see how he could prove it. I guess its not necessarily the cops duty to 100% prove guilt, but if you took the case to court, i think there could be a good chance for the case to get dropped. |

He stops you and through a search of your car, he finds the hole in the floor board. 2 + 2 = 4 Guess what? You're going to jail and maybe Tyrone can explain what went wrong with your plan.

| Have you seen the video with the cop telling you how to hide your weed when on road. He even suggested traveling with brownies and etc.. I think the video is somewhere in the video section. |

| I could be wrong. Only a real life test run would work. Hey, there's nothing wrong with floating out ideas that MAY work. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. |

| Since you are obviously very young and inexperienced, let me help you clarify some details of your cunning little plan. First, when a LEO determines to pull you over, the timing is entirely up to the LEO. Serious training and daily experience come into play - they will light you up only when they are ready to do so - so you will not have the time to open your little porthole and dump the weed. The typical traffic stop usually allows less than 30 seconds from the time they light you up to the time they are at your passenger window. There is not enough time to do anything other than pull over and stop. LEO's call it a take-down for a reason, and they are very focused on your activities inside the vehicle when they light you up. Your furlative movements will be immediately noticed (are you reaching for a gun?) and it will escalate the reaction of the LEO to an "officer safety" mode. In other words, your messing around with the floorboard of your vehicle is likely going to get you invited to a felony traffic stop procedure; everybody in the car face down in the dirt at gunpoint. With the rash of "what if" questions here, one thing strikes me more than any other - the question is not what to do if you are pulled over, rather what do you do to not be pulled over. Avoiding the teenage trifecta is fundamental to, and much more effective than, a hole in your floorboard. Besides, do you have any clue on how noisy that hole will be driving down the highway?

Would you mind explaining the teenage trifecta to me? Is it just being young, driving a vehicle, and having drugs? or is there more to it than that.

That's EXACTLY what they did on their road trips...although I always balk when I see the scene where they're getting pulled over (by a MOTORCYCLE cop, no less!). You'd think he'd see SOMETHING, or wonder why he's suddenly dodging pill bottles on the highway! ![]()
