| I got arrested when I was 16 for possession. I had to do 10 hours community service and it was cleared from my record. Now the question I have is if I were to get caught again what would happen? Now that I am 18 would they consider it to be a first offense since it was cleared from my record or would they be able to go back and say that that was my first offense? Or would they not even be able to see that ever happened since it was cleared? I'm just a little curious since it was never really explained to me and the difference between a first and second offense I would assume is a bit harsher the second time around. |

| It's possible that your jurisdiction has some different rules on this matter, but in general, the only time juvenile crimes are allowed to be used is if they are specifically enumerated. These would usually be pretty serious things, like robbery, rape etc., not mere possession.
