| In the county I live in you can look online but it isn't always completely accurate or updated. Depending on the severity of the charges, you may want to call. In many cases they would rather you probably do the right thing and turn yourself in instead of them having to send anything from a couple of officers to SWAT or the warrant serving team (I don't know if that's the right term but I know where I live they have officers dedicated to this process) out to get you. It makes it easier on everybody but I've never had to turn myself in. |

| A Bail Bondsman can act as your agent and find out if there is a warrant and the necessary bail, without you having to appear. The cost is likely to be 10% of the Bail and and the entire bail would have to be secured with property or assets. Bail Bondsman essentially sell insurance that you will appear. They also work 24hrs so you can call one right now and get this handled.

| Around here, no police department or court will release warrant info. either online or over the phone. The only thing you can do here is roll the dice and turn yourself in. But as you can tell from the other posts, other areas may be different. |
