I am planning on buying some seeds online, its gonna be shipped from the UK and I was just wondering what the laws are in regards to these seeds being shipped overseas to the U.S.

it's not legal to have marijuana seeds shipped to any place in the U.S.

The worst I have seen happen since I've been ordering seeds is that a customs agent will nab it and send you a letter (accompanied by the original packaging) stating that they discovered contraband and siezed it.

The laws on stuff such as that are so unclear its pathetic. Its just like tobacco accessories, acording to the law, a pipe is not concidered drug paraphenilia unless the seller states its for drug use, or has evidence of being used for drugs, yet the US gov't shut down and imprissioned nearly every online headshop in the US.

If i were you, I'd find a number of the us customs and ask them for a definite answer, or take the risk. (i dont think theyl try to convict you of anything, mearly take it or resend it back to the UK.

bizee, seeds in the USA are illegal unless they are sterilized (have gone through a process which ensures they will not grow).

Online seed sellers are usually very, very clever about how they ship them, so the legality of it isn't an issue.

I just ordered some seeds from amsterdam a few days ago..I guess they put them in a cd case so that you can't tell there are seeds in the package.

Guys, try not to tell what your seeds came in, it's only stealth if nobody knows about it.

Not that customs isn't aware of stealth packaging, but we really don't need to be doing their job here, slightly counter-productive, eh?
