has anybody ever used any of these urine cleaning kits? i did, and it failed. the test came back as polluted. i hear that's what happens with most of them. has anyone had any success with any of them?

i do know one old remedy that still works, but i am certainly not about to disclose it on here, god forbid some jackass reads this and they start checking for it. tastes like straight up butthole anyway.

this raises an interesting question... if something popular, like a breakfast drink or slimfast, could clean out your system, would they test for that? would it be legal to fail someone on a drug test because of OJ or slimfast in their system?

Detox products are a scam. They're also ridiculously expensive. They tell you to drink loads of water, and if someone doesn't do that, the detox is useless. Then their "guarantee" is supposed to offer double your money back, but since you were being tested for the "devil's weed," they don't have to honor their guarantee since it's an illegal substance.

And as for the interesting question, if that happened I'd bet they require something foolish like abstaining from all OJ or SlimFast for 48 hours.

There are also certain pills one can take to pass a drug test. I have no experience with them, although I do know they cost about $25+ dollars for a single use.

There is no sure fire way to beat these tests other than giving up smoking long enough for your system to clean out. The time on this varies and this is influenced by factors like your metabolism, the amount of body fat you have, have much and how often you have been smoking, which particular testing method they are using, and probably even the position of the stars or something because nothing seems to work all the time.

If you are someone who is on parole, probation or inlvolved in a nasty custody battle where you have a lot riding on it and could be tested at anytime, you really should just leave it alone. I am a public defender and one of the things I do as part of my job is sit on an advisory board for our local drug court. The people in the program will try anything and everything and invariably they end up getting caught and sent to jail. Nothing works all the time, and if your freedom or perhaps custody of your children is riding on it, you need to just bite the bullet and leave the weed alone at least until you are absolutely certain you won't be tested again. In instances like these it just isn't worth the risk.

Be very leery of people who tell you they did this or that and still beat the test even though they had been smoking. Your milage may vary. Time without smoking works. Flushing your system can help but isn't likley to work if you smoked up the day before or even a couple of weeks before if you've been a heavy smoker, and flushing could very easily result in test reports that say your sample was diluted. These tests keep getting more accurate and more reliable in spite of new counter measures people dream up.

The best advice you'll get is don't get yourself in a position where you are going to be tested unless you plan on giving yourself long enough to clean out your system. And don't fool around and risk getting nailed unless you are certain that you can handle the consequences of getting caught. I've seen too many people lose their kids or go to prison because they failed drug tests they knew they were going to have to take. If you are in that sort of position, think long and hard about what is most important to you.
