| I was cleaning out the shed for my mom and I came across an old radio. I looked at it carefully and it said "Multi-Band Radio". It looks like it's really old. I brought it in the house and plugged it in. I started playing with it. I tried all the different bands on it (10 in total), and I picked up 2 telephone calls completely by accident! I'm sure they came from cordless phones because how else could the radio have picked it up? I have a cordless phone (Sanyo 900mhz Digital) and I haven't been at all careful of what I've said on it. I've made numerous smoking plans, etc.. on that very phone. After this incident today, it really got me thinking... how easily can my cordless phone be picked up by a scanner or something? I tried to pick up my own phone on that radio, but I couldn't... the phone is probably too new. (only a year old) It would be great if someone can help me out and let me know how safe my phone is.
