| This may have been asked already, if so, if someone could direct me to it, I would appreciate it. My question is if I am smoking a joint/blunt in a car and I am pulled over and I swallow it, before the cop comes to my window, and thats al I have on me, can I be arrested if he doesn't find anything. Also, if a cop sees me swallow something can he get a search warrant on my stomach or can I be subjected to a urine or blood screening? If I can be subjected to urine/blood tests can that be admitted as proof that I was in possession of marijuana? |

| I advocate the responsible recreational use of marijuana. The best policy is don't smoke and drive. If you're sober and you swallow a j or two, that you keep loose in your shirt pocket, as you're being pulled over, there's no evidence to suspect or arrest you for possession fo marijuana. But better yet, smoke in the privacy of your home. Considering the illegal status of weed, it's probably not prudent to be stoned in public, and it's poor judgment in any case to smoke marijuana and drive car. Many people get busted just because they're not exercising good judgment. |
