Yesterday night I was out with some friends and we're walking along an empty side street. Packing a bowl seemed like an obvious thing to do, so I did. Right as I finished packing a nice rimmer, someone notices a cop car twenty feet away. Instantly I throw away the bottle, my billy, and a bowlful of weed (they've obviously been combined into one contraption). I've got about an eighth on me, and the bag is clearly sticking out of my jacket pocket. They pull up next to us and ask us a few questions, and, with no consequences they leave. Upon further thought, was it a stupid move throwing away the bottle. Now I have to buy a new billy, which is a hassle. Should I have just hid the bottle behind my back or was it a good call to throw it away? In retrospect, what would have happened? Either way I'm sad I lost my billy...

How are we suppose to know? I don't think it was a smart idea to smoke in public, a likely scenario is the cops arresting you.

a. Billy is short for bill piece. Bill piece is an alternate name for a stem. You should know what a stem is.
b. I had no liquor, the bottle I was referring to was that which I made into a bong using my BILLY
c. Until I actually get booked I'll probably smoke wherever. Most people don't mind

Never heard the term Billy before so thanks for clearing that up. Maybe you should post a thread with some of your areas slang in the glossary of terms section of the forum.

With that mentality good luck. Sounds like you are just asking for the popo to come pay you a visit. You may enjoy the smoke, and some of the people you do it around. Bt all it takes is the one wrong person to phone in the cops to your area anonymously. Just be careful.

These words will haunt you and you will really regret that attitude when you actually get busted - and it is only a matter of time.

On the other hand, it works for me to have guys like you to take the heat off those of us smart enough to be discrete. Since the LEO would have to work a whole lot harder to bust me than you, I am guessing that the LEO will take the easy low-hanging fruit first.

So thanks for making it much easier for me to enjoy MJ without fear of being busted, and also for proving that my signature remains true.

Correct me if Im wrong. But just because you live in Canada, doesn't meen you absolved from marjuana laws. Although these laws are disputed (especially in Ontario) Police still enforce marijuana possession laws. Your best bet is that the penalties would be laxed.

But ask yourself Is it worth it?

The scenario I described takes place at around 1 in the morning so there wasn't anyone on the streets, let alone side streets. It's not like I sit on benches on busy streets ripping bowls, I'll just smoke wherever. I avoid law enforcement. I'm not the idiot you may think me to be... And I live in Ontario.


And, yes, it is worth it. Why would you even ask...lol

Except for the Police. And a group of underage men out at 1 am is going to always attract the attention of the Police every time. Perhaps you are unaware of the Teenage Trifecta?

That can be really hard to do when it is only you and law enforcement out at 1 am.

Then why did you dispatch your "billy" so quickly? Why are you asking us now what the consequence is when you are not going to change your behavior until you get caught? You are not an idiot, but you are foolish to not comprehend and understand the consequence of your actions before you engage in them.

And most of us are telling you it is not appropriate to smoke in public, nor carry a bunch of bottles and billy's and baggies around unguarded. It's is our collective advice, take it or leave it.
