Here is the deal, get the best lawyer you can find, even if you have to take a million home loans. Do not hit him, kill him, or anything. All you have to do is to spay all his clothes (esp his underwear) with pepper spray, and if he wears contact lenses, put some pepper spray on those.

U could do what my fiend did... apeal it and .. play the addicted. Ask to go to rehab instead of jail time. Its kinda a long shot but.. tryin wouldnt hurt.

I haven't been on here in a few months so I missed the start of this post when it came out but sorry to hear what happend. Lesson learned to anyone, never attempt to bring marijuana to anyone even if they are your friend if it's in front of someone you don't know. When they say it's for someone else you should always be suspicious. If your friend tells you that over the phone you don't know who else is there listening and then they expect you to show up with the goods and wait and listen if it's a setup. While some people flip, others will become rats just because cops pay money to people that are willing to go around setting people up.

If someone is a dealer and the cops suspected it I would think they would have asked for about 4 ounces or more which would bring trafficking charges just to see how much they could get their hands on and see how much weight you would have access to getting for them to really try to go after a supplier!

If you kick his ass, hes already a snitch. You beat him up and he will have no problem telling the cops about it and then having a drug charge pending with the assault charge won't go over good at all and you will most likely get jail time if they were just thinking about giving you probation and community service. If you seek any type of revenge on him right now, you would be the one they would suspect of it.

It sucks to think about but any friend at anytime could be a rat when it comes to saving their own ass from an arrest charge. Did your friend have a dui charge or somethin that you didn't know about? He kept asking you to get it for him just to get you busted when what you told us is that you clearly told him you weren't a dealer, just a smoker. He went through all that trouble just to set you up for a ounce, he didn't ask for more? While selling is selling, a ounce of pot is still personal use to a smoker.

You beat the guy up and get arrested for that and even though you told us your not a dealer it will read in the paper, "DRUG DEALER ARRESTED AGAIN ON ASSAULT CHARGE!" It doesn't help the legalization movement when some people read it because there are people that still believe that pot causes violence when we ourselves know it's the problems under prohibition that causes it.

If you so much as even threaten the kid, you could be charged with intimidation of a state witness. MUCH more serious than simple assault. If you are convicted of IoaW, you are virtually guaranteed to do some amount of time.

Why is it that the police's resources (from the taxpayers) is used for such petty things. I don't think the resources should be used to target marijuana in any way... but to set up someone who doesn't even sell weed? Retarded.

Wow now I really wont ever get a sack for someone now, the only time I have done favors similar to that is when it has been for a friend of at least 3 or 4 yrs. I only have a few friends and not willing to make new ones(snitches are everywhere around here) I have major trust isssues, OR do I?

Yes, tell the police that marijuana made you crazy and you couldn't help yourself. You got hooked on demon weed and that crazy stuff will do that to you.
