at the beginning of the month one of my friends asked me if i knew where to find any pot. at first i told him that i dont deal i just smoke it. he kept telling me that he didnt know where to find anything and asked me as a friend for help. so one day i went and picked up an o for him and as i was going to meet him he called me and told me where he was and that his uncle was with him. turns out that 3 weeks later i found out that it wasnt his uncle it was actually a cop. now i have a felony delivery charge and a felony use of a communication facility. is there any hope?

Sorry man, sounds to me like they got you plain and simple, get a good lawyer and be a little more wary with your friends i guess. I would definitely never hook anyone up with weed after something like this happened.

He's no friend of yours. Here's my advise....go buy a quantity of coke, plant it in his car and then rat him out. Wait a year or so before doing it as the cops will think its a set up.

Giving someone an opprotunity to commit a crime isn't entrapment. Entrapment would be more along the lines of telling someone that they were going to kill them or their family members unless they commit the crime. Entrapment only comes into play if the person was forced to commit a crime they would not otherwise commit. Merely asking them to do so doesn't qualify
