so i was sitting breaking up some weed when a bike cop rides up outa no where i have the paper folded on my lap he asks for my ID i hand it to him and he reaches for the paper and takes it. then he reaches for my bag and i tell him i dont consent to any searches but he continues to search and badmouth me. but he ends up letting me go. was the cop wrong to not follow protocal. i assure you that he didnt see me he just came up and snatched the paper. was that wrong of him?

The herb was in plain site. Charge one. The paraphenalia was in plain site. Charge two. You responded way too hard at this guy for doing his job AS HE SAW FIT. He still let you off...

Hey. I know it hurts to take the hit on the herb, but I would consider myself lucky and smile for a long, long while....................

yea i know dont get me wrong man im totally gracious he let me off the hook i was just wondering on the way he approached it. in no way did i disrespect him i was calm and polite i didnt talk back i just sat there and let him do what he had to do. im just saying i really think he could have handled it alot different. they only thing that really bothered me is that the paper was folded on my lap and i was just sitting there when he saw me came up and just took the paper.i dont think there was any probable cause but thats just me, to me thats illegal search and siezure. no way im gonna do anything bout it now im a free man but im just saying all that bs about having rights and shit the cops never repect citizens rights.

Does that answer your question? He was within his boundaries. A lot of police work is discretionary. He used his discretion when he could of bent you and cuffed you......

yea i guess whatever its done and over and im just glad he didnt throw me on the back of his bike and take me in. i just hate that cops are dicks. it sucks when soomeones talking shit and you cant do anything bout it
