To all British Guys & Gals out there sorry if this is out of topis but had to spred this info, I've just read in a British tabloid that from Januray next year British Tourists will not be able to buy or smoke pot in any of the 750 licensed coffee shops. I am praying that this is just an ugly rumour with no truth, but if it is true then I can see Amsterdam losing some British visitors as I can't see many Brits going to Amsterdam for the sights or for the Red Light District (most likely ban us British from that as well) , when I travel from the UK to Amsterdam on the 18th of this month I can sadly say that it will be the last time I go as banning cultural aspects & activites from other cultures has no point, why go abroad and get arrested for smoking when you can do the same but without the expense of the travel. If however any of this post is wrong then I do apologise and take back what I said

it's so freackin weird hearing that you are able in england to go to a place and legaly smoke, and amsterdam too. here i am in apartment on the northside of chicago in the frickin u. s., and i'm hoping nobody in the building smells my smoke. and when i go and buy my weed down the street, you have to come back in with it quickily because you don't want to get caught by the cops.

just there's this tension about it here, but to here you talk about it so differently, it's just so amazing.

Read the other posts in the thread, thier "hash" isn't our "hash". When we say hash what we mean is the THC resin itself extracted from the MJ plant. This is thier "resin" (so our hash=thier resin). Thier hash is a mixture of MJ and other substances to make it sell for cheaper basically.

Skunk cost 20 on the 1/8 although i will pay 25 for the best. an oz cost about 110 to 140.
Soapbar comes at next to nothing, probs 30-40 for an oz. Mind this stuff is disgusting and i wouldn't go anywhere near it, but to be fair i dont like any type of solid.

i pay $40-$50 for a quarter here in indiana, and in london i paid 40 quid for a quarter. the exchange rate makes it seem more expensive (appx $80 for a quarter), but really, the price is relative. ahhh and i loved sitting on my stoop smoking a spliff with my english friends. i miss that city so much
