Default Science in favour of Marijuana

I think one main reason why marijuana is illegal is because of fear. Our governments fear the effects which marijuana might have upon society and the individual. So, I propose that we show everyone what effect marijuana is really having. In this thread, I want people to post their life success stories despite their use of marijuana and despite the negative social stigma of marijuana.

We shall start with my story:

I have been smoking marijuana in the evenings, almost every day, for the past six years. I feel great mentally, physically, and spiritually. I keep fit, and I am very healthy. Through those six years I have obtained a diploma in Police Foundations (aka Public Safety and Security), and an Honours Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Psychology and Philosophy. I am living proof that a pot smoker can succeed.

I'm a Certified Electronics Technologist, and I'm also going through for my Industrial Electricians ticket. I have found no ill effects, and I have been very successful.

Been smoking every day for a couple of years now. I've been working on a mechanical engineering degree and I actually got a job as an engineer with a company that's helping with the schooling's financial bit.

Only after starting smoking, I pursued my education and career.

I'm 5'8'', about 155-160lbs (depending on how much I smoke ), and am in good physical health. I don't work out as a body-building routine or anything, but I do a couple of hours of excercise every weekend to keep healthy.

I'd say it's been a nice friend in my life and has helped me through some bad times, also emotionally helped me through the last couple of years. I have a pulmonary functions test done every couple of months as a requirement due to some of the chemicals we work around, and I'm always operating at near-perfection.

I have a good sense of fulfillment in life and I actually enjoy my work. My dad's done the same thing for 40 years now, so this is a great chance to sit down a bond a little with my ol' man. Unfortunately, I can't talk him into smoking up some of my dank

I love to hear when people are doing great with this drug and it saddens me to see people stuggling with acceptance and social issues.
