| well, i made it through. go me. anyways, i can somewhat relate to your mother situation. when mine found out i smoked pot it killed her. she assumed i was going the way of her brothers ( i.e. heroin and crack). she would call me "drug addict" etc. it broke the heart for a bit. but after i passed school with ease she in turn learned to accept the fact that marijuana wasn't something i did to get "fucked up" or use to constantly party. perspective broadening, similar to what you said. the point im trying to get across is if the day comes when you are found out by your mother, prove to her you won't be your brother. |

| I guess I rock eh? Lol Your paranoia is probably because of your guilty concience. You know that your mother doesnt want you smoking and neither does your boss and you both told them that you would stop. So now when you get high it reminds you of your mom and boss. It may not be that guilty of a concience when your 'sober' but when your high the fact that you know you promised you wouldnt smoke mixed with the natural paranoia side-effect from weed is what's causing it. Idk what kind of advice to give you that wouldn't involve smoking weed. Buzzby had a good idea, go somewhere else and smoke. Walk down the block or something, who knows. But...good luck in the long-run! ![]()

| If you want to smoke in your apartment, then I would suggest that you move into another apartment, or move up a few floors, if possible. It seems like I say this a lot on these forums, but going outside, maybe walking a few blocks, is not that hard. | |

| Im a 4 year army vet, iraq-served, good-job-having, family involved, car payment, house payment guy who smokes behind his wifes back. Talk about paranoia! She would divorce me in a second if she found out i was smoking, i have tried to talk about it with her but to no avail. I will get caught one of these days and when that happens we shall see what goes down... Anyways... My advice would be to use your military exp to score a better job. Find a small one bedroom apt somewhere where smoking wont be an issue, smoke, enjoy and live. Or move in with someone who is 420 friendly who has a rad pad! OI! |

| First off, I too made it through, I kick ass. Second, I agree that you should smoke somewhere else if that cures your paranoia, that or you could get a vape, less odor and better for you. And remember, it's 1620 somewhere soldier (I saw it on a t-shirt but it's still awesome, may be the reason I join) edit: oh yeah, if reefer madness pisses you off, sorry to point this out but Stoners in the Mist is the newest form of bullshit, and it is disgusting, exaggerating every pot stereotype shamelessly...seriously, it's fucked up. |
