Default Methods of Legalization

Here are two possible methods of forcing legalization that I kinda brainstormed.

1) Spread the Love
What if all of the stoners in America took their seeds and planted them all over the community. I think that if pot was growing everywhere, the authorities would have a tough time getting rid of all the plants especially if they were constantly being replanted. Cannibis would be in constant supply and people would begin to become comfortable with it.

2) Satyagraha
Satyagraha is a method of resisting tyranny pioneered by Mohandas Ghandi when he campained for Indian independence. By initiating mass civil disobedience, Ghandi won independence for his country. Stoners could do something similar. we should stock up and protest in front of the white house, the Congress, the Senate, local capitals etc.

I understand how difficult it would be to make this happen, but think about it...

Sounds great, man! Go ahead and organize the stoners of the USA and let me know when you're all ready to go. I'll be right behind you.

"Operation Overgrow", which is exactly what you're talking about, has been around for many years. Not much has ever come of it.

2) Satyagraha
The membership of the three largest pro-legalization organizations together is 60,000. It is estimated that there are 24,000,000 marijuana users in the US. If all of the members are marijuana users and none of the members are members in multiple organizations, that means that 0.25% of America's marijuana users have bothered to take the simple, effective, inexpensive, and safe route towards legalization. With that track record, how many would be willing to put their bodies and freedom on the line?

The most effective thing we can do to achieve the legalization of marijuana is to join and contribute to the following organizations. If every marijuana user contributed $25 a year, the movement would have $600,000,000 to spend on educating the public and lobbying our representatives. Currently, they're scraping by on $18,000,000 and half of that comes from a few extremely wealthy patrons.

National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML)

Marijuana Policy Project (MPP)

Drug Policy Alliance (DPA)

Just thought about it, if we take Buzzby's advice "If every marijuana user contributed $25 a year, the movement would have $600,000,000 to spend on educating the public and lobbying our representatives" all we would have to do is allow NORML to debit out accounts $2.10 a month, or other organization of you're choice, and I think we could all afford that - right?
