| Hope I posted this in the right section... There have been obvious signs that the drug war is being lost down in Mexico and South America right now. Hundreds of people (innocent and otherwise) are being kidnapped and murdered because of the drug war. Sure, we all could agree that an end to the war on drugs might stop these killings, but what then? We allow these drug cartels to just continue to sell their drugs (legally)? We move on and forget that they have killed thousands of people? Do these people deserve our forgiveness, because they too have been "victims" of the war on drugs? Or should we jail/eliminate them for their crimes regardless of legalization? I'm curious what you all have to comment on this Last edited by Jewbutca : 10-22-2008 at 10:03 PM. |
