Marijuana.com UNITE: Launching a Pro Marijuana Internet Campaign

The Internet is a wonderful resource that many people use for gathering information. Everyday more and more people choose to get their news and other information from the Internet.

I myself and many others would never have used marijuana if it were not for the Internet. I would have always believed what the government had said if I didn't have the Internet as a resource to do research.

How can we use the Internet to change public opinion? The same way the government used the media to change public opinion, except our campaign will be FACT based.

The Plan:

This will not require any of you to spend a single dollar, just a small investment of time.

1) Go to StumbleUpon: Personalized Recommendations to Help You Discover the Best of the Web and sign up for an account
2) Go to Digg - All News, Videos, & Images and sign up for an account
3) Go to http://www.blogger.com/home and sign up for an account
4) Go to https://www.google.com/adsense and sign up for an account

Now, what we need to do is create Pro-marijuana blogs. You can write whatever you like, be sure to include links to sources and what not. We will go around to each others blogs, write tons of comments in support of the website and such.

We will then act as a team, we will Digg the pro-marijuana blogs up to the top of digg.
We will "thumbs up" and bring pro-marijuana blogs and websites to the top of stumble.
If you make any money off your blog through this, you can choose to keep it, or re-invest it to the legalization movement.

What do you all think?

It's an interesting idea.

Public opinion on Pot seems to be about 65% pro, at least in the U.S., if the Gallup poll figures are anything to go by.
The real challenge is to get legislators to take the legalization ball and run with it. One way to do that is to look at their records and only vote in candidates with a pro MJ stance and throw out the ones that don't.
I've come to the point where I simply will not vote for anyone who has an anti-pot agenda.
Another way to do it is to support NORML, MPP and SAFER. Three organizations that have successfully prodded Politicians into seeing that MJ is something on the mind of their constituents.
Of course, there's also revolution, but the idea of starting a stoner militia is a little far-fetched when you take all the "Patriot Act" B.S. into account.

Massachusetts media giants need more pro marjiuana op eds. They also need written complaints about so many anti-marjuana articles. At the moment, its rediculous. Its like refermadness all over.

You go from monotone oration of how inner city residents are blowing eachother away to SCREAMING POT SEX CRIME RAPE!!! SEE!!!

Its rediculous. I think boston should open up dutch style coffee shops. There is a federal presence atm though, they are in middle of cleaning house of bribe taking public officials, they would probably raid the shop.

Media conglomerates suck, specially when managers there are old boozing farts that use to beat up potheads. Fuck them.

Maybe I'll just blog about all the crazy shit I make when I get the munchies; I'm eating a peanut butter/maple syrup/Quaker Instant Oatmeal sandwich right now. With Eggo waffles as bread.
