im a stoner, and lovee pot, but i dont want it to become legal, why? let me compare it to the prohibition with alcohol.

during prohibition, since alcohol was illegal, people made it themselves and it was not regulated, so people usually made it of very high proofs(moonshine)to get the most fucked up, because thats what people wanted. After it was made legal again, the government taxed it and regulated it to their standards, with limits on how concentrated it could be. now lets put it in terms of weed, kush today can relate to moonshine, very potent weed, but if it was made legal the government would most likely tax it heavily, and regulate the strength of it, make it necessary to have some sort of license to grow weed, make it a federal crime or something if you grow without a license. The moonshine of the past has become the hard liquor of today(there are limits to alcohol concentration right? i know moonshine is illegal). If weed was made legal, dont expect to see the sticky icky ooie gooie, maybe some mids will be the best around, but even then it will most like be taxed heavily(the government never has enough money) This is why im in favor of decriminalization, not legalization
