| I don't know in what direction the Obama administration intends to take the DEA, but apparently they are expanding their efforts. The reason I say this is that my brother just got a call from the DEA saying that he got hired and starts January 20. Is the fact that they are currently hiring bad news for pot smokers? I figure if they are hiring that means they are receiving more funding and starting more programs etc... Unfortunately my brother is insanely anti-pot and doesn't know the first thing about the arguments in favor of weed and ending prohibition. He lumps all drugs in the same category, and he maintains that alcohol and tobacco cannot be more harmful that cannabis... Is his involvement in the DEA likely to solidify his anti pot stance or do you think they will educate him on the true dangers of each drug? It just sucks that people still buy into the propaganda in this day and age... |
