| What would prevent people from buying it legally there and selling it somewhere else illegaly? It seems like this activity would allow politicians to say, "Look! See? Legalization increases crime just like we told you it would! We will now re-legalize it and turn the public against once more." Thoughts?

| The rest of the states would soon do the same. The profits would be enormous, and other states wouldn't want to pass up the opportunity. It will only take one state, the federal government won't interfere, and all other states will follow within 2 years. I had a dream the other night. Obama called Tom Ammiano in California telling him that he supported the bill. California legalized it and the house of cards fell down.

| It Is Precisely This reason, we must hope, and try to expect those who have been granted "Medical Marijuana" to be of More than a role model. It's a tough fob, to be sick and tired, about being sick and tired,But !,theres' a standard to which all laws are rated. We hope the "Legal Patients" are above the temptation of selling their medicine! How would that look , to others? |

What stops people from buying truck loads of cigarettes in states where they have low taxes and selling them in states with high taxes? Nothing but federal and state laws which make it illegal. People do it. People get caught. And people go to jail. The fallacy that prohibitionists never acknowledge is that marijuana is in short supply and additional supplies would make a significant difference. If three million pounds were seized at the borders last year, ten times that much probably made it through. More tonnage is produced domestically. Marijuana is everywhere. 8% of the population uses it.

. Maybe it is true, or maybe he really doesn't think it's a good idea. But to stay on topic, because the prices also would be raised a little. So a state that has legalized marijuana would probably cost more than the state next to it if your buying it off the streets. Say you bought a half 8 for 20 dollars. If I bought my legalized bud for 25 dollars i'd have to sell it for at LEAST 30 to make some profit. It wouldn't be worth it to sell, and it wouldn't be worth it to buy. If anything the buyer would just drive to the state if it was close enough and get his own supply, unless the state requires you to be a citizen of that state to purchase, which they most likely will.

| What reason would he possibly have in his mind to believe that it wouldn't be good for the economy? He's not a stupid man - he went to Columbia and Harvard. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see how beneficial this would be to our economy. |
