Dear President Obama,

In your town hall meeting this past week, you infuriated millions of Americans. About 1/8 of the population of our country has smoked marijuana, and you blow them off as ridiculous. You too have smoked the "forbidden" and it certainly didn't ruin your life. But the fact of the matter is this, it could have ruined your life. You could have been thrown in jail, slapped with a criminal record, and forever scarred by the Prohibition II. There is only one solution, and the problem will never go away until the Prohibition II is repealed.

Let science, truth and reason guide your decision making, and the choice will be easy.

Momentum is growing, and the media is catching on. There is a boulder coming toward you at 1,000 miles per hour, and you can stop it with the truth. The house of cards is about to fall down. To quote you before you bended over to the lobbyists, "the war on drugs has been an utter failure." "We need to rethink, and decriminalize our marijuana laws."

Take the advice from yourself this time, because you're right.

My question to you is this: Why do you believe that marijuana should not be legalized?

A simple "no" does not suffice, give me some evidence proving why you are so quick to avoid this topic. You can't hide from the truth forever, so the sooner you are honest the better.
