| i know i am probrobly gonna get chewed out for this post, but hear me out. why should we have mj legalized? DONT GET ME WRONG, I LIKE WEED JUST AS MUCH AS ALL OF YOU, AND HAVING MORE OF IT WOULD BE AWSOME. however, if and when it does get legalized wont the fun of using it be lowered because it is no longer against the law and there will be no more feeling of not being bound to a law, but being free? i have asked several people i know, and they say they would move on to something like meth or cocain, if it were legalized because, to them, smoking weed would just get boring to them. even if weed is legalized, i will still smoke it, this is just question, so please dont think im a weed basher..... |

| I believe the feeling of marijuana will not change because of the legalization of the substance. I have just started using it and I do believe it should be legalized because it has the right to be, not because it is fun to rebel against the law. A nice legal dealer would be nice, not one who wants to sell me other substances. |

| Marijuana should be legalized so the government can tax it just like alcohol and cigs. Marijuana is the # 1 cash crop in the united states. Hemp can be used in the making of almost anything such a rope. Legalized marijuana would reduce the flow of money from the American economy to international criminal gangs. Marijuana is NOT a lethal drug and IS safer then alcohol. Marijuana use has positive attributes, such as its medical value and use as a recreational drug with relatively mild side effects. those are just a few reasons why if marijuana were legalized it would benifit the country in soo many ways

| If the reason you smoke in the first place is because its illegal, then yes, once it is legalized you will lose some of your fun. Personally, that's not why i smoke, so i have nothing to lose from legalization. |

| I'm 25. I was just asking because I feel that what you asked is an absurd question and the way that your friends feel about weed/crack/meth is also absurd. Sounds like those people that you talked about REALLY need to grow up and do something besides shit that's illegal. Do they breaks other laws just because they're illegal too? Fun stuff like robbing banks and killing people? Seriously, think about it. |

And my opinion on legalization is that if it becomes legalized, you're going to see lots of mass production involving marijuana. Cigarettes companies are going to start manufacturing hemp cigarettes, filled with chemicals and garbage. I don't think I'd like that very much. | |
