At the end when they had to settle to an agreement it sounded like bennett was calling for mercy. "Comon Ethan give me a break, you are overwhelming me with facts."

Idk it looks like that guy actually did a pretty good job in the debate. He knew his stats as inaccurate and out of date they may be. Its too bad that when he went on that rant linking drugs with crime that Ethan sidestepped it and shifted to marijuana only legalization. In my opinion it seemed that he was conceding the argument. Of all the old time prohibitionists this guy did the best job of not looking crazy... Dammit.

Its not really a "debate" when one side completely makes up facts. I like how Bennett said that the number of drug users has been reduced to 11million people. Are you serious? What do you classify as a drug user? ~150million Americans have used marijuana, ~15-30million use marijuana each month, that isn't even counting other drugs.

What does a prohibitionist do when their argument is indefensible? Just lie and hope nobody calls you on it.

We need to expose these liars for what they are.

^^^Thats exactly what I am saying. He didn't call him on his bullshit, and if I was someone on the fence I would keep in mind that Nadelman sidestepped the question because maybe he is wrong. Of course I am not on the fence and neither are you, but I am saying for somebody who has never heard the topic discussed and then watches this.

It's real easy arm chairing and thinking of shoulda said's and coulda said's just watching the video. And the criminal activity surrounding pot is mostly criminals created by the
stupid laws anyway. When your in for a penny,in for a pound. Since our justice system has labeled non-violent offenders,convicted and marked them as a criminal,a lot of people
resort to criminal activities so that they can provide for their families with more money
than they can earn,thanks to their arrest record. Once labeled a criminal,the good jobs
that pay well are not available to them.
They spend their lives in the poverty class because of our prohibition,not because marijuana leads them to it,but because our government drives them to it.

We're all hearing this day after day after day now. It's the single largest argument against legalization. We all agree that our children should not be smoking marijuana. OK. Fine. Now...where do we go from HERE?

Since both sides agree, shouldn't we now work together on this singular subject instead of arguing and debating?
