How can I help

So my GF and I were talking the other night, and I came across a thought. Since I bought my SSV a year and a half ago I completely stopped smoking, now my only form of delivery is from my vaporizer.
So I'm thinking if I'm going to sit here and vaporizer 4-7 days a week, once a day late a night, is there anyway I can help this movement. I'm not going to go out and be an activist, other then what I bring up on here, and with my friends, but is there any way I can help.
I'm not sure if there is a stronger movement towards decriminalization/legalization or if it's just due to the fact I pay attention to it now, and I am on this forum.
Getting to my point are there studies, surveys, etc... that I could participate in?
Like surely the only way to get this stupidity of our government/society to change is by proving facts. I'm an Electronics Engineering Technologist, and Electrician. I would be willing to do something to show the effects. Like of course we know there are positives and negatives, but the more people willing to help the better.
Either way if there is anything you know of please direct me.

There are several ways you could help out. You could donate to either NORML or MPP. Or you could write your local and federal government officials. You can do many things without going out and protesting. Check out some of the threads here. There are some links to places where you could help out. Oh yeah and as the guy above me said go out and plant your seeds.
