| This isn't anti-Obama, this would go the same for any official who would be pro-prohibition and a past drug user. By supporting marijuana prohibition, Obama is effectively saying that those in possession of the substance are criminals and are to be dealt with by the law. Their future opportunies must be limited, and their records must be scarred by an offense. If Obama truly believes this, shouldn't he resign? Shouldn't he schedule court dates for his many drug offenses? "I'm sorry America, I cannot accept this job. I am a criminal, and I am disqualified for this job position." Does he make an exception for himself because he turned out alright? What about the other millions of users that turn out alright? Why are they not granted an exception? If he were caught he would never be where he is today. Sorry if I'm thinking old thoughts, but it struck me as interesting.
