|  Madison, WI legal complications and misdemeanor reporting Okay... SO the biggest issue with my parents and weed is legality. If I was to keep my stash a foot or 2 off of our property (on city-owned) would they be considered liable for the weed? (No plants, just maybe 3 or 4 grams and a pipe or papers) What would the legal ramifications for possession of a small amount of marijuana (like a 1/2 O or less) be in madison? I know they don't prosecute for under 25 grams. What does this mean? My dad has a very high-profile job. If I was to be caught and given a misdemeanor, would this be able to get out to the public, or would it stay private? Would HE be liable for my off-property stash? Would it effect him in any way?
