| It is a hard race between California legalizing and marijuana being rescheduled. Whichever happens first will be the tolling of the bell for prohibition. As said earlier,if marijuana is rescheduled and control of clinical testing is removed from the DEA's control the avalanche of medicines with cannabis in them will be a thing to see,and as the medicines are approved and move into the open market, the myths and false studies will fall away and finding anyone to support prohibition will be harder than finding a sober congressman. I truly believe that marijuana has cancer blocking properties and when marijuana is rescheduled, just maybe one of those big cancer researching organizations will take up the reins and get around too proving it. Even if marijuana only reduces cancer risks by 30 or 40% instead of 62% as in the study done in Spain, since we have no cancer blocking medicines,it won't take long for even the hardnosed prohibitionist to realize that by not smoking or ingesting marijuana,he is the one that is taking the chance of contracting cancer. A little irony for our drug warriors, who I am sure don't smoke or ingest marijuana,or at least I hope they don't,and never do. ![]() |
