recently i was caught smoking the big MJ, what happened? of course a series of lectures on how its so bad. thanks to everyone on this site ive been able to rebuttal everything my parents threw at me, but they have one thing on me that i can't fight. since im only 16 and still live with my parents, they say while im in their house, i have to follow all the rules which includes smoking an illegal substance. how do i fight that i should be able to smoke something illegal?

you cant kid its there home you follow there rules end of story...

heres the chatch go out side off of there house property and smoke that way you can say it wasnt in or on your parents property but again I wouldnt come home high cause thay can just day we dont want you high in our house as well thats one of the draw backs... then agian you could get caught by the police and then you can ask your parents would you rathe rme get caught or do it safly in your home lol worked for me

As long as you live with someone supporting you 100% financially they're the ones that get to make the rules about illegal behavior. Use this as motivation to focus on a future when you can smoke at your OWN place. Whatever it is you need to do, school then job, or job right away, it's a good thing to focus on. For the time being, their rules are the ones that stand. Sucks, but it's the nature of the situation. Their rules are the rules they're going to enforce while you're there.

Yes, marijuana is relatively harmless. But, the law is harsh and unforgiving.

You need to respect your parents wishes, after all they want what's best for you. You got caught by your parents, what's to say the next time you get caught by the law? That could result in having your parents home seized and risk losing you in the process.

And a sobering reminder, it happens every single day.

It's illegal and your a minor. Now that you got caught, your parents are going to be far more suspicious. You have 2 more years until your an adult and make decisions for yourself and nobody is responsible for your actions, but yourself.

I'm sorry you can't. You can say anything and all the facts you find about marijuana that backs up your statements but if your parents say you can smoke then really... you can't some. After you turn 18 and move out it is a whole different story you can smoke.

Only thing you can say: Mom, Dad, would you rather have me smoking out of the house places where I might get caught by the police and end up in huge trouble that could ruin your future or hurt it. Or would they rather you smoke in their housh where you can be even more careful and harder to get caught. They can control you at home and help you to not get in legal trouble.

That's all you can really use. But most parents aren't going to budge on that. They don't want you smoking and doing something illegal in their house. But you never know. I have friends that this worked with.
