Default Doing whatever I can to get around the Law

Well, now that Invested all my money my only source of income is from collecting donations, and selling my postcards. So I've been going to all the hotspots, anywhere thats popping with people. I can usually make between $5-$40 a day. This week I stumbled apon University City, the Delmar Loop. Its a small city located centralized near all the unviersities in St. Louis. This place Is poping, its full of shops, and bars, but the thing that makes this place so special is THE PEOPLE. Everyday alot of people stream down the Delmar loop, there are some of the most interesting people in St. Louis hanging out at the Loop. Musicians waiting around with their gitars for their next gig, playing some sweet melody, or pounding out some lyrics that make your head spin.

I made myself at home down there with my postcards. The first 2 days I was selling around 10 postcards every hour. If I put my mind to it I could probally sell 50-100 a day down there. But its about more then making money and selling postcards. Im collecting signatures, and telling people how were tring to get the laws changed, and why. Im meeting key contacts, and telling them about my projects. Im taking lunch when someone from the sandwhich shop offers me some free food, or when someone offers to buy me a drink.
Im working hard, and having alot of fun doing it.

I do run into some opposition every so often, but even most of the undercovers and government agents seem to support what im doing. When I start to tell them about my research project, they usually tap their noses and laugh. Heh, but undercovers and government agents are a whole other story. Anyhow, I asked this random guy "How do you feel about people getting jailed over this plant?" He said, "Your talkin to the wrong person." I said, "why is that?" Just then a cop car pulled up and the officers approached me. They asked me what I was doing, as they searched me. I said "Showing people my beautiful pictures." He asked me, "Are you selling them?" I ment to say , Im collecting signatures, but instead "Im collecting donations" He asked me if I had a permit. Then I knew I was screwed. Well, after I told them about the major project im working on, and how its going to change homeland security, they let me off with a warning, and told me to go to city hall and get a permit. So I checked it out, the permit is $30 for a non for profit organization, but Im not associated with any yet. So now I need to contact Norml, MPP, SSDP, and find out who can help me get a permit ASAP.

Default Figures LEO would step in...

I'ts no coincadence either, they probably knew about you the moment you arrived. But $30 is no real big setback, and good luck with your business. Fate has the most unusual way of working out

Yea, well I went to city hall, and the police station to find out if there were any legal barriers or restrictions on doing a petition. After going to the police station I was told, As long as Im on public property I can. So Im like, alright! thanks! And he's like "So whats the petition for?" I showed them my postcard, and they all laughed. So I shouldn't have any trouble collecting signatures today, my only problem is, how am I going to get the funds to keep doing this. I cant send off postcards without postage, that costs 23 cents per stamp. If fate is in my hand today, perhaps I will bump into someone with a video camera and I can make a video grant proposal to MPP.
I called them today and told them about my project, they seemed pretty excited about seeing it. I can't wait to start producing video's on the cannabis culture, I still need to get in contact with Marc Emery. Well, I've got a busy day ahead of me and limited time, Ill come back at you with another story or update soon...

Default Note To Lyle Craker From UmassAmherst

The Advanced Biosensor in Cannabis Is a highly adaptive substance ............
Its Highly adaptive...
What about the skunky cloud that surrounds the cannabis.....
That cloud produces some heat
In my imagination I see this cloud working like a brainstorm of electrical reactions going on much like how our brain processes stimulis.....
Reactions between the resin orbs atop the glandular trichomes.
Can we measure its matrix, and test its reactions?!
My theory is these orbs are processing sensory stimuli from their ecosystem.
If a skunky particle flies to a glandular trichome on tobacco how would the resin react?
Its prooven that plants can sense other plant signals.
How would cannabis affect the nectar in honeysuckle.
Interactions with the phyto chemies....
Yum..
Hmm, now im thinkin food.
Well get back to me if you like this one ...

Andrew Esswein
King Herb.....

Its kind of a Im high version
Lyle Craker studies aromatic plants n herbs...
The skunky particles need to be studied
The advanced biosensors.

I wonder if hes still interested in studying cannabis after what the DEA did.....
Im hopin this might spark someones interest.....

Updates:
Its been awhile since I posted, I've been pretty busy lately and the stories are stacking up.
Professor Lyle Craker from Umass Amherst recently returned from his leave and replied to my emails. Im going to do my best to keep in contact with him.
He applied to the Federal Government to do Marijuana Research, and his research was not approved.

A DEA agent told me he couldn't buy a postcard, but after inquiring to him about marijuana research he told me to lookup Stanford University.
http://mednews.stanford.edu/releases...ber/prince.htm
MARIJUANA-LIKE CHEMICALS IN THE BRAIN CALM NEURONS, SAY STANFORD RESEARCHERS
This article on cannabis is interesting. “Marijuana is a major drug of abuse with actions in the brain that aren’t entirely known. Now we understand one piece of the puzzle,”
Here is a piece of the puzzle I would like to put before you. The substance in cannabis seed, Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) are substances our body cannot produce, but it utilizes them to make our cells work efficiently.
THC is another product cannabis produces which attaches to receptors in our brain. My Theory on THC's effect on the brain is that its a more advanced substance then our body/brain can produce. If my theory on THC reacting with environmental chemistry is prooven, perhaps cannabinoids are just as reactive in our own brain, perhaps more reactive then our own chemistry.

Yesterday I attended a local Reggae concert downtown, featuring the World Renown Luciano. I spent the day showing off my postcards, and talking to people about cannabis. At first I figured I wouldn't be able to sell them without paying for a vendor's license, so I asked the vendors if they wanted to buy my cards in bulk. None of them would buy them, but fortunately I sold them all by the end of the day. I ended up putting all the money back into the concert to support the reggae scene. Unfortunately I ran out of postcards, save for two which I refused to sell because they were autographed. Both Cards were autographed by Luciano he wrote "Andrew Herb- Continue Educating The Public about the good Healing Herbs. Jah Bless. Luciano."
When the ballgame ended and people streamed passed the concert I stood near the sidewalk holding out my last two postcards telling the crowd: "This is Cannabis Sativa, Ganja, Marijuana, The Healthiest plant in the World, Our government doesnt want us to know this, and they prevent us from researching it. LET THIS PLANT GROW." I told about 500 people in 5-10 minutes.

Oh yea, and I was arrested for peddling without a license.
Local MO Norml Refused to sponsor me with my postcard petition.
I have less then half of my box of postcards sold... less then 420 cards remaining.

It was my first time getting locked up. I didn't want to call my parents or grandparents, it would just worry them, so I just waited it out. They released me after 9-10 hrs it was about 2am. The buses had stopped running and I was stuck downtown untill morning. I asked a police officer if there were any restraunts nearby still open, because I hadn't had any food since lunch. He told me there was a White Castles just on the other side of the street. So I walked out and around the street looking for a White Castles but there was none to be found. I saw someone walking on the street and asked him where White Castles was, and he gave me detailed directions: go down two blocks , make a right, go past the stadium and you will find it. So I kept walking following the directions, and I bumped into some pedestrians on the way. I asked them where White Castles was just to make sure I was going in the right direction, but they pointed me in a different direction. I got confused, and continued in the direction I was heading. I walked past the stadium, and approached man and woman walking my way. I asked them for a ciggerett, and the lady pulled me aside "Come here, I need to talk to you" "ok" I said.
"I want you to be honest with me, there are 4 cops circling the block waiting to arrest you, so don't run." Just then I saw a patty wagon pass. "Ok" "What kind of drugs are you on, Dont Lie" I grinned "heh, Im not on anything, I just got out" "Don't lie to me, Im a probation officer and this is a police officer there are bounty hunters out to get you." I said, "So are you going to kill me?" raising my eyebrows. "Do you have any warrents, let me see your ID, whats your name." She was holding a drink in her hand, and she was acting pretty drunk. "Tell me what your on and I can help you, < insert offtopics here>, Ill pay your bond." "Im already out I dont need any bond. Im clean I only smoke a little Ganja." "I don't Care about Marijuana, I don't care about marijuana, your pupils are huge, TELL Me WHAT YOUR ON." "Its night, your pupils are huge too. Look, im stuck down here till morning, Im just looking for White Castles." "Who is running the show here?" "God" I replied. She said, "No Im running the show, Im first, Gods second, Im giving you one chance, he is giving you two." "Let me ask you this, Do you have kids" "No" "Do you have a girlfriend" "No" "Do you like the life your living?"
"YES I LOVE IT"
Then the guy she was with started to tell her to leave me alone. "Let him go, hes clean" She kept trying at it, and he told me to just go. She told me "Run, get out of here" I said, "Im not in any hurry, Im just looking for white castles."
I asked the guy if he knew where it was, he said hes sure its around here somewhere.

So I kept looking for white castles. I asked a group of people in the parking lot. They told me it was back there, where I had just come from. I told them "Im not going back there" Someone else told me to just keep going in the direction I was heading. Everyone kept giving me different directions, they were probally undercover cops, I felt like I was in that White Castles Movie. Well I never found White Castles, but I did find a nice little diner where I had some breakfast. It was a long day, and I wasn't going to let it get to me.

Default Letter to DR. Bronner

Dr. Bronner
I truely respect your business, and your products.
I would like to introduce myself. Im an advocate for Cannabis, Hemp. I've researched cannabis and the drug war for 4 years now, and I've found out things that many people do not know. I also found out the true meaning of my name, and I believe it is my duty to God to tell the world about cannabis. My name is Andrew Esswein, which means King Herb. Essen Wein, but you can only eat dry wine, that is herb.

Many things happened in the 1930's. This is the year cannabis was given a new name, marijuana and made illegal. There was another plant made illegal in the 1930s that many people are unaware of, the Native American Cotton. The natives were advanced farmers, they knew how to keep their plants pest resistant using weeds. They also engineered a grass called tenosite into many different types of corn. They had corn and cotton of many colors. They attributed this to a Mother Plant, which tied together all the plants, I believe cannabis was their mother plant.

1930s was the time Dupont started developing their poisons to kill off the soil organisms which hold and cycle nutrients, so they could sell more fertalizers.
They made the cotton and hemp illegal because they were very pest resistant, and they were major crops at the time. A strain of white cotton was bred and it was not so pest resistant.

Another major law passed in the 1930s was the Plant Patent act allowing corperations to take control of our food industry. Today this law has given corperations monitary interest in spreading biological warefare to sell their patented pest resistant plants.

Today our food, water, air, even our cosmetic products contain harmful toxins. This all started in the 1930s when the healthiest plant in the world was made illegal, cannabis.

My goal is to offer organic products to consumers. Im scouting for some of the best organic products to market. Im starting an organic cosmetic business.
A portion of the profits will go to educating the public about cannabis, to gain support for legalization. I would like you to see my first product, a postcard. The postcard contains beautiful pictures of flowering cannabis plants. Im taking to the streets talking to people about cannabis, collecting signatures on the back of the cards to send the politicians the message "Let This Plant Grow"

I would like to send you a postcard. I would also like to use your products in my catalog. They are the best I have found.

Respectfully,
Andrew Esswein

Alright, heres an update. I recieved my business license earlier this week. I found my favorite spot to sit and show off my goods. Right down the street there sits two headshops right next to each other, I sit in front of the vaccant building inbetween them. Pleanty of people from my neighborhood come there everyday, as well as some from far away, I collect their signatures either way. The petition is getting filled. A few weeks ago I started out with 1000 postcards, now Im down to 250. I can sell about 25 a day in my new spot. I could sell around 50 a day in University city, but I need to get my non for profit organization setup first. I mainly like to sit between the headshops and talk to the people who pass me by. I sit down next to my products, showing off my postcards, they usually attract alot of attention.
If I sell 25 usually only 15 sign&date them, and those who aren't comfortable with sending their name in just keep the card to hang on their wall. If I sell any of my other products I make good money for the day. I average $30-$60 a day. Its a good start, but its only the market research phase of my business. I have to find out what people like, and how much they will pay.
I found out people are more willing to pay $9 for 3 small vials of my body candy rather then one big one for $10. Then they end up buying a card and spending $10 anyways. These recipes are pretty good, and some of them are exclusive recipes that you can't find anywhere else.

Since Norml didn't sponsor me with these cards, Im going to have to start my own Non for profit organization, I should be getting this started within a week or two.

Thanks mon. I thrive off the support of others who carry the same goal.
Sometimes it gets pretty stressful, there are alot of people out there who believe cannabis isn't going to become legal anytime soon. Its been over 70 years, I can see why people take on this perception. They do not know the things I know about cannabis. I believe cannabis is going to be legal within the next 5 years. Things in this world are going to change so fast people aren't going to notice the difference.
Government and corperations have been feeding us poisons everyday through the air we breath, the food we eat, and the everyday products we use. This has been happening for around 70 years. Cannabis happens to be the healthiest substance in the world, its seeds can help regenerate our cells, and balance our body chemistry; the plant can help restore soil quality; the THC can improve our immune system and our general health, its also a healthy preservitive for our food. This plant IS for the HEALing of the NATIONS.
