Default If we want cannabis legalized...

Why don't we get off of our couches and take example of The Million Man march... Imagine this- What if we all became activist all at the same time!? C'mon back in the 70's if you weren't satisfied with something wouldn't you protest it??? Right now the internet is a powerful thing , basically anyone can access it... Now if you want Marijuana to be legalized why don't we get up and start doing something about instead of waiting for someone to do something about it???Which btw hardly works at all... I mean if we can spread the word maybe this could happen- The decriminalization of Marijuana in the late 2000's in America??? I mean I hear all you people talking about it why don't you do something about it? I mean you do have enough time to get on this website and read this right???

Tell me where to be that I can afford to be and when to be there. Unfortunately this nations newest version of indentured servitude, credit debt, has me a bit limited on my traveling ability but if I can do it I will.

If there was a march going on in england, anywhere in england, and i knew that the turn out would be fooking massive, and that it could make a difference, then i would go there.

I hate to say it, but only 60,000 of the 24,000,000 cannabis users in the US (0.25%) have bothered to join and support any of the major pro-legalization organizations. This takes five minutes and costs $25/year. If they won't do that, what would make you imagine that a million of them would take the time and incur the expense to attend a Million Head March?

Altogether, the major pro-legalization organizations limp along on a budget of $12 - $16 million a year, most of which is contributed by a few billionaire supporters. If users contributed 1% of what they spend on weed and accessories, these organizations would have $400,000,000 to spend annually in the effort. We're working against the ONDCP which spends $120,000,000 a year on anti-pot TV ads and the pharmaceutical industry which distributes millions to our representatives campaign chests.

If you really want to make a difference, join and, above all, financially support, NORML, MPP, and DPA. If you're concerned about exposure (which is not a real problem), send a money order in an envelope without your return address. When membership reaches a level that would allow for a Million Head March, I'm sure one of these established groups will organize one.

National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML)

Marijuana Policy Project (MPP)

Drug Policy Alliance (DPA)

Buzzby throws a good point, if we all have the money and time for it, it could happen, if we get NORML and other marijuan pro legalization we could be able to get thousands of Activist everywhere... The problem is we all live in different areas and we would have to find specific locations that would severly help us on the struggle for legalization, decriminalization or anything of the like. All we need is the power of communication if we can spread the word and set up dates and if we ACTUALLY do it then we can get this thing on the road we could actually see some changes but this would require support by all you Marijuana smokers everywhere but there is a reason why they call this forum Cheaptalk...
